I bought these ventshades because I really needed em, I like to crack my window open when it's raining and when locked up on hot days. I purchased these due to the way they mount, I don't care too much for the other style that mount on the outside of the door, they look tacky. One thing I want to point out for anyone interested in buying these, is be prepared to except the fact that if your vehicle is a older one, keep in mind if these ventshades don't fit perfectly it may not be due to the shades themselves. That rubber trim these mount under over the years will shrink and slightly harden up a bit, so taken that in consideration you may not get a perfect fit even if these ventshades are cut correctly. I noticed after mounting these the windows were a bit harder to roll all the way up. However, if you roll your windows up and leave them there for a awhile as directed, then in time the rubber trim will expand and stretch back out and eventually the windows will roll up as normal again, that will take time. If you mount these as directed and clean the inside of the rubber trim these shades will stick good, as long as the felt on the inside of the trim is removed with a little scrubber pad that comes with the ventshades. The felt has to be removed as much as possible for these to stick good. Mount these as directed, and they won't be coming off, just be sure to prefit first. I did take off one star rating due to a small exposed gap at the front lower part of the ventshade, and no matter how I tried I couldn't prevent that gap, I'll have to seal it up with a small piece of glued on rubber to keep rain from coming in, and again that very well could have been due to the rubber trim shrinking... one side had a bigger gap than the other side and both ventshade were cut exactly the same. ... show more

Works as advertised but I deducted 1 star for what I feel is a design defect. The tab at the front that stays outside the window tract actually arrives with a small tear in it where it meets the part that goes in the window tract. In time this will spread. It has to, physics wise. Also it leaves a pin hole leak chances if the windows down far enough but that does require the window being down at least 3 inches or more. I will seal that spot with something if it becomes a problem. I normally use weathertec (I think that's the brand name) for in window channel visors but gave this one a try. Again it looks good but that tear will be an issue eventually Im sure. ... show more

I installed these on my 97 single cab, 4.6L, stepside F150. They fit well but took a little work. These install with crazy strong 3M double sided tape. They also install into the window channel itself so they are a very clean looking install. Sadly after installing the drivers side i found that the passenger side had a crack in it right out of the package. Luckily the crack was small so i "patched" it with some clear tape. I've had these installed for several months now. I'm VERRRRRY pleased. no more rain hitting me in the face when the window is cracked! ... show more
