No need to buy the most expensive watch winder. This one does the trick. Very nice looking with the white contrast sticking. Super quiet and does the job of keeping my watch ticking and on time. Read the instructions so you under how it works. Rotates clockwise for 2 minutes than stops for 6 minutes and then rotates counterclockwise for another 2 minutes. The winder is quiet, looks nice, and worked well, but it stopped working after 5 weeks. I tried new batteries and I tried the AC adapter, but it's dead. It has a warranty, but how do I get a new one?

It works just like the more expensive ones. If you look at all of the watch winders, you'll notice that a lot of them look just alike except for the price. I thought this one was the most reasonable and it works off both batteries and plug-in. Had it running for several weeks now as a plug-in, also tried it for a couple of days on battery power. Based on the sale price alone, this watch winder is surprisingly nice. It appears to function correctly as described, but one of my two watches (a Seiko Turtle) does not maintain accurate time while in the winder, losing 5+ minutes per day. My other watch, a Rolex Submariner, keeps accurate time when it is in the winder. Overall, though, I am pleased with this winder, and would purchase it again. ... show more
