This takes me back to my childhood. When I was a kid, 8-tracks had just gone out of style and cassette tapes were all the rage. Although I didn't see camper vans like those around much, they were recent enough that I'd see them all over TV, but those cameras were familiar to me and, more than anything, those -colors- are perfect. Camera film improved a lot in my lifetime but, when I was a kid especially, when a photo faded it turned that shade of dark, rich red with a touch of sepia in it. I have SO many pictures of my sis as a baby with these colors in them! This set is absolutely perfect for those times when I want to relive the era I was born in. It makes me want to travel and see all of these places shown in the photos, just so that I can write about them, too! While light, all of the scrapbooking paper appears to be good quality, the note paper is of a good size with plenty of room to write, and there's a good selection of different items so that it's useful in a variety of circumstances. It comes in a nice little gift set enclosed securely in plastic but, once open, you're going to want to store it in a gallon-sized plastic bag. I just wish there was more than one of some of these things in it!!

My daughter (11yo) is just getting into scrapbooking - so I ordered this for her to be a starter kit. She absolutely loves it! It's packaged so nicely, this would make a fabulous gift that you can feel confident in giving. The box itself is very nice and my daughter plans on using it beyond what these supplies will last her. Although this was for my daughter, it would also be great for adults who are into scrapbooking as well. You get everything listed in the item description. All pieces are of good quality, the paper is thicker, it's not thin. The journaling book is nice, it's binding is quality and the pages are made to withstand crafting on. All of the prints on the papers and stickers is printed clear without any blurriness. This is a great value for all of the pieces included, I would absolutely recommend!

I absolutely adore this set! You get a nice amount of ephemera, such as stickers, post it notes, washi tape and a few clips. My favorite part is the smaller graph lined notebook. The cover is removable, the stitching is good and the pages lie flat. There is not a pocket in the back, but I can easily add one. I have been using A5 journals for years for my sketching, but after using this size, I think I am going to switch to A6 journals. This would be the perfect kit to give someone just getting into scrapbooking or junk journaling, and the price is really good for everything that you get. I would absolutely purchase again, and highly recommend!
