    • Surprisingly Tasty and Incredibly Useful—Perfect for Everyday Cooking and Emergency Prep
Style: Butter Powder 2 lbs 4 oz
I picked up the Augason Farms Butter Powder (2 pound 4 ounce can) for long-term food storage, but I’ve ended up using it in everyday cooking more than I expected. It rehydrates easily and has a rich, buttery flavor that works great in recipes—especially for baking, sautéing, and mixing into keto-friendly dishes. I’ve used it in scrambled eggs, mashed cauliflower (for my girlfriend—she loved it), and even carnivore-style sauces, and it blends in beautifully. It’s also fantastic for meat-based dishes. I’ve used it to finish off pan-seared steaks with a buttery glaze, mix into ground beef for extra richness in burger patties, and whisk into drippings for a quick butter-based gravy over pork chops. It adds depth and flavor without needing to keep fresh butter on hand, and it holds up well in high-heat cooking. One thing to note—it’s pretty salty. I’d recommend not adding any extra salt to your dishes until you’ve cooked with it a few times and get a feel for the flavor. It’s easy to over-salt if you’re not careful, especially in simple recipes. The 510-serving can is a powerhouse for bulk cooking and emergency prep. It’s shelf-stable, easy to store, and a smart way to keep butter on hand without worrying about refrigeration. The powder texture is fine and smooth—not clumpy or gritty—and it dissolves well in warm liquids. If you’re building a pantry for long-term resilience or just want a convenient butter alternative for daily use, this is a solid investment. Great flavor, great value, and a must-have for anyone who cooks with efficiency in mind. ... show more

    • Doesn't taste like butter, low fat
Style: Butter Powder 2 lbs 4 oz
Doesn't taste like butter when mixed for spreading. It tastes a bit like powdered milk. Will be really good on popcorn. Probably will help when I'm put of butter for a recipe, or just want a lower fat option. Many of us will happily sacrifice flavor for calories, so giving this 4 stars because it serves its purpose. I think should be advertised as a lower fat option. ... show more
