This dress is just absolutely stunning! It is very well made and the fabric is lovely. I ordered a large based on the sizing chart. However, I am a curvy size 8 and I believe a medium would hug my curves just a little bit more without being too tight. No nevermind because I can always try to shrink it a little bit or just take it to the tailor and have it taken in. I am a shorty at 5 feet even, so I would definitely have to wear heels with this. I slipped on some of my 6 inchers and boy I was really feeling myself. I thought I wouldn't like the ruffles very much but the ones at the shoulder are not annoying and stay in place. The ruffles on the lower bodice of the dress look very neat and streamlines the entire look. I want to just wear this beautiful dress around the house, just because of how beautiful I feel in it. Can't wait for some formal event to arise so I can break this beauty out!

This maxi dress can be dressed up or down. The fabric and the style make it a good choice for a wedding or a formal dinner. The fun ruffles make it fit in with a party or a night out. The dress has a fitted bodice. It is sleeveless, but a ruffle on one side of the top adds visual interest. The dress flows seamlessly into a full skirt. A ruffle along the slit in the skirt continue the look of the dress. The fabric of the skirt section overlaps, so the leg is not constantly exposed. It is a modest style, but not puritanical. It is a comfortable dress to wear. There is a zipper that runs down the back, so it is easy to get in and out of. The washing instructions say to wash by hand and not to machine wash. I would have preferred a dress that could be washed in a washing machine or was dry clean only.

The dress is a thick polyester which isn't the best feeling in the world on my skin, but it does smooth the smaller lumps and bumps on the figure, so I don't feel tempted to wear undergarments that are also polyester to suck everything in. The green is pretty. And it's forgiving to my curvy figure. The ruffles are strategic to both accent and hide certain features across the shoulder and stomach which was nice. I was even able to yank the neckline down for an emergency nursing session, although I would suggest doing that very often unless you are okay with it getting slightly stretched.

So many things to say about this dress. First off, it’s even better in person. It flows well. I was worried that the ruffles would look odd but they way they are designed makes them pretty flattering. The fabric does have some stretch. The medium fits but I would be much more comfortable in a large. As far as length goes, the medium was perfect for me at 5’4”.. although I don’t think I’d be able to wear anything above a kitten heel without it looking awkward. A great dress for flats. Also, the green is gorgeous! A definite must for your next wedding invite!
