  • Very sturdy. Easy to put together by yourself, instructions are very clear
Bought this for a gift for a gamer.

  • Great gaming desk with great accessories!
Update 07/2018: I've owned the desk for over two years, it's still going strong and looks brand new, it's very well built, the size is perfect (not too big or too small). I lost the screws for the legs during a move and called up their customer support and they're sending new ones for free! Here are the things I've discovered and hope for after using it this long: 1) Device charger: I generally do not use it, I find it to be impractical. I'd prefer that this was a laptop stand instead. 2) Lack of keyboard tray is annoying, but you can raise your chair and put your keyboard on the desk itself, but I find this to be a waste of good space and not as comfortable in longer sessions. I plan on installing the Alera ALEVA312812BK Valencia Series Underdesk Keyboard/Mouse Shelf, 28w x 12d, Black keyboard tray as others have suggested, it looks good and looks to fit good. I wish they would have included something similar as a screw-on accessory on a deluxe model instead of the dinky under-desk storage tray. 3) Would love to have dual monitor stand or mount as and add-on accessory or on a deluxe model as well. I think most enthusiasts would want at least two large monitors. They could have done away with the device charger and rearranged the accessories to fit under two monitor stands instead. 4) Would have loved to had a tray or bracket to hold a computer tower. Perhaps one that hooks to the legs on the side. You're forced to either set it on the floor (which is bad for dust, heat, and if your home ever gets a flood), or on another table or stand. 5) Cleaning: I suggest using Pledge furniture polish and a microfiber cloth, it cleans it up nicely and prevents dust longer. The desk is highly versatile and customizable, with a little effort you can make the desk be whatever you want it to be with the right modifications or accessories. OLD REVIEW: This is a fantastic desk and is a perfect size for a gaming station. The attachments are very practical and help keep your setup and gear nice and clean. I was worried about the size of it being too small or too big, but I was able to fit it into the corner of my apartment living room and I love the setup. Pros: -An awesome finish on the surface of the desk (It looks like a fiberglass finish) -Lightweight, yet very stable -Rack for a surge protector, which keeps your floor free of cable clutter, awesome feature!!! -Groves on each side of the monitor stand for cables (so that you can position the desk flush against a wall) -Monitor stand designed for the weight of a 27" monitor, this provides more desk space and puts the monitor at eye level -Speaker holders on the side, to save more desk space -Headphone holder (finally! Someone figured out the perfect place to put one!) -Cup holder (It's huge, can hold a big gulp or large glass of beer, it can go on any of the legs and sits in place) -Phone / tablet charging stand -Drawer (basket) under the front of the desk (Haven't really thought of anything practical to put in there yet) -Gaming cases holder and holder for 2/3 controllers (Holds a gaming guitar nicely too) -Room under monitor stand for a console or small computer -All attachments are optional and you can have just the desk if you want Cons: -No keyboard tray :( I really wish they had the option of adding one instead of the dinky drawer tray, I would have payed extra for that feature. I have to have my computer chair raised all the way up to comfortable use the keyboard on the desk. It would have been nice to have a laptop stand instead of the phone charing station (but this is just more of a wish). As far as the lack of a keyboard tray I may just buy one eventually and install it myself, the desk is a solid wood and can probably take some drill holes and screws nicely. Overall I'm very pleased with this desk and love all the features! ... show more

Okay lets start off by saying I have OCD and am pretty picky when it comes to quality. That being said this thing met all my expectations. To address every comment saying this is difficult to out together, they have either never used hand tools or put anything together. Every bag and part is labeled and corresponds to instructions. Second note for people saying there holes dont lign up. They are not suppose to line up perfectly. There will be a hole or two slightly and I mean slightly off. You are suppose to stretch the pieces ever so slightly. What this does is gives it more rigidness and strength. Every time I got a piece on you could tell it was gonna be well secured. If for some reason you strip out a bolt...if you dont attach all the accessories then you will end up with extra screws. Same thread pitch as bolt, use a screw in place of the stripped bolt. It will secure it solidly. Did this to one of my bolts, my fault not theres, specifically says no power tools but I love my power tools. Carefully used drill with a phillips attachment is key to making this faster. Nobody tells you this but you need a tiny wrench at a point because some of the accessories use bolts with little nuts on the end. If you dont hold the nut down with a wrench or pliers like I did it will spin with the bolt will not actually get tight. Leg room is solid, I am 6'4" all in my legs and I fit just fine. My inital plan was to put the pc on a cart and wheel it under the desk. The surge protector rack made it not fit so I put it to the left of the desk. The surge rack is not suppose to be "tight" it hangs on the bar so that you can slide it out a ways to access it. Genius! If you dont care about your pc going on the ground it will fit under there and you will still have leg room. Last note. People saying in the top right corner there is a imperfection in the carbon wrap. Its not. Its covering a pre made hole for securing the cd/contoller rack. They covered it up with the wrap in case you dont attach that like I did. Keeps it clean looking with just a little bump where the spot is. But since you now know what it is, it should not bother you knowing its there. When it comes to opening the package. Dont tear into it like an animal, you will likely damage your table. What I did is open one end of the box. Then grab one flap and roll it backwards on itself like your rolling up a carpet tearing the top off the box. This will reveal the contents without damaging anything, then you can carefully remove styrofoam without making a mess. Overall very well made and packaged. Nothing wobbles at all, if it does then you did not tighten or attach something correctly. I leaned my leg on the edge of the table and tried to get something to move. The only thing that moved was the carpet, the table held its ground. If you shake the absolute crap out of it then the monitor moves. The monitor not the stand attached to the desk. It was solid. If you have someone in your house shaking your desk that hard, promptly tell them to exit your residence! Absolutely worth what you will pay. Hopefull this review helps answer questions I had before it arrived. ... show more

  • Very nice desk
This desk is very sturdy and easy to assemble. My grandsons loved them.

  • Kids are happy with them.
This our second purchase of this desk. My son has had his for a few years and even survived moving without any major issues (it did get a scratch from the movers stacking boxes on it) but still looks very nice. The carbon-fiber laminate cleans easy, which is SUPER nice if someone tends to eat at their desk a lot. My daughter decided to go with a sit/standing converter that sits on this desk without issues. Even in the standing position, everything feels sturdy and she's running dual 24" monitors on a stand clamped to the converter. The front drawer is garbage, honestly, so we can't use it. When we first attempted to use them, it wouldn't be more than a week before the arm of a computer chair caught the drawer, pulled it out, dumping everything on the floor. But, the back cage is perfect for holding a power strip and helping keep cables tidy. The two speaker mounts are handy if you have room for them. In our case, we have 3 desks all lined up, so my sons desk doesn't have them at all and my daughters desk only has the right side attached. If you can sacrifice the desk space, the slanted phone holder is a nice feature. The headphone holder.. awesome! ... show more

  • Sturdy damn thing
Very easy to put together and an extremely solid desk. I'm very prone to slamming things cause of my autistic gamer rage and this desk is the perfect outlet since anything like my monitor or controller isn't really an option. 9.5/10, -.5 because most of the gimmicky structures laid out around it don't serve many purposes ... show more
