I purchased this item on sale and feel that this sweater was a nice find at this price point. I ordered the black color and debated between a size M or L, but decided to go with L. I thought the extra room would be more comfortable for layering. I’m glad I went with L as I prefer looser fits and ample shoulder flexibility. It’s not an oversized item, so L still fits me without looking too loose. The only spot I feel the size might show is the neckline. It looks a little big to me. The sleeve length is perfect as well as the overall length, which hits just below the hip. I love the weight of this sweater. It’s not too hot, and will span a few seasons depending on how you wear it. The ribbing at the top adds a tiny bit of visual interest. The fabric is soft and comfy. The label reads 53% viscose, 21% nylon, 26% polyester. I wasn’t looking for an heirloom sweater as I wear sweaters infrequently, but did feel a basic black pullover was missing from my wardrobe. These shirts are super soft and beautiful. They are very true to size and are super flattering. The material is light, but not too light to the point they are see-through. They are very versatile in that I can pair them with so many things, wear them on a summer day, and are also the perfect layering top for cooler days. I can't believe the price for the quality. I washed them on a semi delicate cycle and hung them to dry and swear they are even softer while maintainimg their color. Not much cotton content. Now I know that “silky” soft means mostly some kind of manufactured fabric. Sweaty and non absorbent in warm weather, cold and clammy in cooler conditions. 1/2 ok because it has long enough sleeves and torso for my height and fit is true to size.
