These days many people use a digital calendar, but I continue to use these smaller pocket paper calendars. Just call me old-fashioned. It's something I can check without getting caught up with other distractions on my phone. I can easily make notes, make changes. With digital calendars, there's a great risk of losing everything. In the case of this planner, I keep a thin mechanical pencil in the binding. It also helps me when I do taxes or have a need to recall where I was or what I bought or what I was doing in the past. I've been using them for more than nearly 20 years and the history they reflect has been useful to access every so often. The one part that is not very useful anymore is the address book at the end. For me, smart phones are much more useful for cataloging this information, where one can more easily use it to call, email or chart a course to an address. I'd prefer having some blank or lined pages for notes. Another useful feature for this space would be more space for next year's calendar...by September, at the latest, I'm planning for the following year and it would be useful to be able to note it in the current year's calendar, rather than cart around two calendars. The price had come down a little, but, unfortunately, inflation or price gouging shot it up again for the 2025 edition. Even with these shortcomings, the At-A-Glance calendar remains the "Cadillac" of the category. ... show more
