The included wiring harness was not correctly built. Upon connecting the harness to the 12V power source, the relay did not work and it caused a fire in the switch. The relay must have a short because I tried a different 4 pin switch expecting maybe the switch panel had a short and the harness burned yet another switch. Upon installing a new relay (one that was confirmed to work) the harness still did not work. The fuse is working. Still unable to verify if the lights actually work. Good quality, well made lights! The light output on the flood pods is not super great, but with the addition of the different modes (Solid white, strobing white, strobing amber, alternating strobing white/amber, and amber/white), I think that makes up for the lack out light output somewhat. It comes with a complete wiring harness with spade connectors. Deutsch connectors would obviously be ideal, but they are pricey so it’s understandable why spade connectors are used instead. The lights have 3 wires: red, black and yellow. Red and black are exactly what you would expect, yellow is to change between the modes by momentarily touching it to the positive red wire. If you’re not going to be installing these to a switch box and only using the included wiring harness then it’s pretty much plug and play for you and you need not concern yourself with touching wires together. Would I recommend them? That’s a tough one. I’m a bit split. With the lack of output, I would probably opt for the spot variant over the flood simply because you’ll get better projection. With that in mind, yes I would recommend them if you want an LED Pod that has strobing modes and for the fact that these are well constructed. If you’re solely looking for an LED Pod purely for the absolute most light output as possible, then these may not be for you. ... show more

Those are well constructed good looking lights. Solid heavy body with cooling fins, chrome plated mounting brackets (black powder coated would be better), stainless steel mounting hardware and wire harness with relay and controller. Those are not very powerful light, max output for the white and yellow for the set was 12w (according to my power source) mixed light take between 6-8w. Lights have memory so if you choose yellow and turn off the system when you turn it on yellow will be present. Simple installation. If you will not use the supplied light harness, and just want the lights to be hooked up to the switch panel, connect red to +, black to - and yellow to another + source bttn, that will give you option of changing the mode when you press the bttn for that source. Edit: After one day of heavy rain, chromed brackets show rust, rest is fine. ... show more

Not too difficult to install. I ended up changing the harness to one that supports a wireless remote so I wouldn't have to put a switch somewhere in my dashboard.

I haven't mounted these yet because I got a different vehicle since I ordered them. I did however get them out and test them on a power supply. And they worked like they should and seemed like they were nice and bright. I will try to update the review with a picture or video once I get them mounted.

Super bright, nice to have multiple settings as well as the amber option, harness is nice quality, light bodies are made of metal and seem very heavy duty. Just installed these and they work well, very bright (flood model), and the included controls works well enough to cycle through the modes. The only issue is the wiring harness. On my F-150 I can to use my own 18-4 cable to get the control wiring into the cab and I had to cut a majority of one side of the light wiring off and splice it to the other which made it just enough to reach. Pictures do not do them justice in terms of brightness, they are bright! ... show more
