I purchased these to use as mtb flat pedal cycling shoes. I purchased carbon fiber sole inserts and put them in the bottom of these. They stiffened the sole enough with a little flex to make a great flat pedal shoe. The sole grips well on pedal pins and with the stiff inserts, they contact the whole pedal easily. I hate leaving 4 stars but thats only because i cant wear these shoes. They are super comfortable, seller includes a set of extra inserts, which are awesome. I cant wear these shoes for the same reason i cant wear other barefoot shoes and thats because of how the shoes are made. My middle toe is longer than big toe and rubs against the tip of the shoe. I would have to get a size bigger just to accomodate it, but then the shoe is just too big overall. ... show more

I recognize the marketing of these shoes seem more for gym weight lifting, but I am writing this review for track runners too. These are great if you’re looking for a low-heel track shoe, barefoot feel, and wide toe area. It’s nearly impossible to find wide track shoes with or without spikes with any brand. No more squished toes rubbing together. They’re flexible, stable, and have just the right amount of grip for the track. I also like that they came free with an optional thicker insert, so you can choose a little more comfort or go more minimal. I would imagine the shoes work well with other orthotics for very high arch runners. It offers good stability with keeping the foot in the shoe with high speeds. I paid for these myself (not a free product review) and I’m honestly surprised there aren’t more reviews because they’re well made and the real deal for people who like minimalist grounding to feel the track. Plus, you can wear these in the gym for weight lifting days. Thank you!! ... show more

This is my second pair. The first pair I wore 4 to 5 times a week at the gym lifting and they are still going strong after more than a year of abuse. They have been SUPER comfortable. They have definitely REPLACED pair of (won't say the brand) *under your arm shoes* fully. Only reason im really getting this pair is bc the sizes are TRUE.
