I'd been looking for good shoes with a wide toe box and zero drop and wanted to try out "minimalist" style shoes, but Xero and Vivo and other brands are prohibitively expensive to try it out. These are inexpensive enough to take a chance on and don't come off looking like clown shoes (like a lot of flat, wide-toe-box shoes), so I gave them a try. Short answer: These are great shoes. The build quality is better than I expected, I've been wearing them daily for about 6 weeks and they barely show it. I can bend and flex my feet and the shoes just bend with them. The sole is thick enough for protection, but I can still feel the ground underneath my feet. My toes don't feel scrunched together, and they just look like normal shoes. It's like wearing sandals, but with the safety of closed-toe shoes. As a bonus, they came boxed with a second set of laces (thicker "athletic" ones) and second set of insoles that reportedly have more arch support. I haven't tried either, but that the company went to the effort of including them is a consideration most don't take. I appreciate it. Like a lot of shoes, the sizing can be a little tricky because every brand seems to size slightly different. I'm usually a 10.5 or 11 for most. I ordered an 11 for these, but could probably go down to 10.5 for my next pair -- and I will be getting another pair when these wear out, or to have a different color. ... show more

I recognize the marketing of these shoes seem more for gym weight lifting, but I am writing this review for track runners too. These are great if you’re looking for a low-heel track shoe, barefoot feel, and wide toe area. It’s nearly impossible to find wide track shoes with or without spikes with any brand. No more squished toes rubbing together. They’re flexible, stable, and have just the right amount of grip for the track. I also like that they came free with an optional thicker insert, so you can choose a little more comfort or go more minimal. I would imagine the shoes work well with other orthotics for very high arch runners. It offers good stability with keeping the foot in the shoe with high speeds. I paid for these myself (not a free product review) and I’m honestly surprised there aren’t more reviews because they’re well made and the real deal for people who like minimalist grounding to feel the track. I purchased these to use as mtb flat pedal cycling shoes. I purchased carbon fiber sole inserts and put them in the bottom of these. They stiffened the sole enough with a little flex to make a great flat pedal shoe. The sole grips well on pedal pins and with the stiff inserts, they contact the whole pedal easily. My husband was looking for a wide toe box, zero drop running shoe. He came across this brand and given the price and comments he purchased a pair. He said that they are extremely comfortable with excellent foot support and room in the toe box area. He didn't want to spend $100+ for a brand name and feels that these shoes were a bargain for the money. I hate leaving 4 stars but thats only because i cant wear these shoes. They are super comfortable, seller includes a set of extra inserts, which are awesome. I cant wear these shoes for the same reason i cant wear other barefoot shoes and thats because of how the shoes are made. My middle toe is longer than big toe and rubs against the tip of the shoe. I would have to get a size bigger just to accomodate it, but then the shoe is just too big overall. ... show more
