This is a perfect shoe for indoor pickleball. I don’t know about outdoor as I haven’t played outdoors with them. They are just a tiny, tiny bit more narrow in the toe box than some of my other ASICS but not enough to make a difference for me. A lot of reviews said to size up, but I ordered my usual size and they fit perfect. I have never had a problem with ASICS sizing. I always order true to size and have never had an issue. These are perfect. No break in time required for me. They grip and I can move side to side, run forward with no issues. These will be my new go to for pickleball shoes. So comfortable. The only issue I would have, as in some other reviews, is the shoe laces are a little short, but they stayed tied and I don’t have any issues with the laces loosening during my court time, which I usually have a problem with. I love these shoes for indoor and outdoor Pickleball. I previously used the Upcourt 4, loved those. The only negative to the Upcourt 5 is they seem about a 1/4” longer for the same size 7.5 I had in the Upcourt 4. I played pb with them for the first time today and all seems good so far.🤞🏻The Upcourt 4’s lasted a good 8 months without having to put new inner soles in! I usually would get about 3-4 months out of my Prince tennis shoes. I’m hopeful the 5’s will last as long. I like the Asics volleyball shoes better than the tennis shoes because they are mesh and the tennis ones are some kind of closed molded material. I will stick with Asics for all my sneaker needs from now on. ... show more

The color of the shoes is a bit lighter than in the pictures on Amazon but it's totally fine. They look really nice and don't make your feet look big like other volleyball shoes.
