We've reimagined this workhorse running style with less weight and a smoother heel-to-toe transition. The midsole is updated with a full-length FF BLAST PLUS cushioning unit and PureGEL technology. These features help provide a more energized toe-off with cloud-like softness underfoot. Meanwhile, the 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM consists of wider basenets and an increased heel bevel and forefoot flare. As a result, you'll experience a silky-smooth transition from footstrike to toe-off. Polyester, synthetic mesh, synthetic overlay upper offers a supportive and comfortable foothold. Polyester and synthetic mesh lining. Removable OrthoLite X-30 insole provides soft step-in comfort. Round toe. Lace-up closure. AHARPLUS heel plug rubber helps improve durability. AHAR LOW DENSITY rubber outsole material helps improve resistance against wear. Heel-to-Toe Drop: 8mm

I've worn ASICS for a long time. I tried changing shoes on numerous occasions, but I kept going back to ASICS. All of the claims are true, comfortable fit for wider feet (but the toe box isn't as big as some other brands), great support and stability, and no need to break them in. Bought these for work shoes & they’re already worn out 2 1/2 months later. I am on my feet about 40 hours a week on concrete. I’m used to having brooks but wanted to switch it up this go around but they don’t last as long and their width is smaller than brooks. I have to order wide shoes and my feet still felt cramped. The support was good at the beginning but I walk on the outsides of my feet and the outsides are smushed down and already worn out and I’m already starting to get holes in the shoes where my pinky toes are. I come home from work & my feet hurt so bad from these shoes. I do not recommended these shoes. I do have a different type of ASICS for my home/gym shoes and those are holding up but I also don’t wear them as frequently as this pair. ... show more

Always an Asics fan. But these are prob the best I've had. I have a lot of feet issues and need good cushion. When I work it's usually 12 hours plus. With most of the day on my feet and running around. Wore these straight out of the box to work. No breaking in. Im also a Hoka fan. But lately I have a bump on the back of my ankle that the Hokas rub on. No problem with the asics. Hoping it will allow the bump to go away. I got the black on black. For the longest time I haven't liked any of the black on black styles of basics. They looked cheap and ugly to me. These are so nice. Again, they remind me of my black on black Hokas. ... show more
