Years ago when I trained for and walked the Susan Komen 3Day Walk for Breast Cancer my 8 woman team went into Atlanta and were individually fitted for shoes. Asics was the brand recommended for my gait, foot specifications, support requirements and toe cap. These are, once again, Asics is the perfect shoe for me. The first time I took this new pair out of the box I worked out, then walked 4.5 miles right after. Total support, zero discomfort, heel holds the foot in place. I have had many foot surgeries so need a toe cap that gives my toes room, and this shoe checks of every single box on my "must have" list. A shoe like Nike is too tapered in the toe for me (great looking, however!), other brands are too loose in the heel. I am a nurse and I am on my feet mostly my whole shift and these sneakers have been very comfortable on my feet. I tend to get really bad plantares fasciitis causing a lot of pain and discomfort but I must say that these sneakers have a pretty good arch making the pain much less. I also feel that they have lasted much longer than the more expensive sneakers that I have purchased in the past. I would buy again! ... show more

I knew they looked pretty good on my phone when I ordered them but, when they arrived it was a whole other story. They were one of the gifts for my 90 year old mom for Mother's Day, who after seeing my Asics wanted a pair, so I surprised her with these and she freaked with all the vibrant colors popping from this shoe lol. They really helped to make her day and she loved sporting around in then with her Coach bag I got her as well. She's not the typical 90 year old, my mama is fly lol...Heads up tho, they run small so get them a size larger than you normally wear. I had to do this for myself and mom when purchasing these Asics...I paid attention to other reviews. Otherwise great shoes, just purchased white on white!!! ... show more

I bought these in September 2024 and as I write this it is July 2025, ten months later. I've owned several ASICS over the years, because the fit is predictable and the style is nice, but the wear is always in the identical place with each new pair. The tread holds up well, but the sole wears thin quickly. I'm waking up with foot and ankle pain once again and that's my sign to say farewell to this pair. I wear these everyday, but I run a lot less than I used to and I remember shoes lasting longer a few years ago. ... show more

is comfortable and it has good quality. It broke when I started using it when I was going to my ranch but it could be that is just not for that kind of environment
