    • Comfy for long walks and lasted quite a while through a 7 hr hike which was partially through water.
I loved how long these sneakers have lasted me. I walk everywhere in them. To work and back 45 min, trips, and just recently a 7 hr hike which was partially through water. I wld probably recommend buying actual hiking shoes with ankle support, but these worked for me this time around. I thought they wld have fallen apart by now but they still last. The rubber from the sole which comes up to the front seems to have come off just a bit but has been and stayed like that for a while already...was scared they wld be falling apart but still staying strong through beaches, rivers, and long walking distances and runs. Absolutely love them. The only thing I find annoying-but not specific to this sneaker (just me feet 😉) that one foot, my pinky rubs against the edge and gets a bit annoying. But broke in a bit, still annoying, but not too bad. Other sneakers with a more narrow toe box is definitely worse. Still in search for a sneaker that won't bother me or need any breaking in for that specific reason(well any reason). But this was definitely a good buy and decent price. Arch support is probably long gone, and may not have been too strong in the first place...but I wouldn't know being that I am ignorant in that area. ... show more

I walk or I’m on my feet all day for work and LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THESE SHOES! I did some research on good shoes for being on your feet when you’re flat footed, and these shoes just stuck in my brain. I finally purchased them with my first paycheck and I have not had pain from walking at all!!! They have been such a game changer for me because I believed all shoes were going to hurt my feet no matter what, but these shoes proved me wrong! I love them! ... show more

I have had these shoes for three years and they are still solid. I have tried other shoes by several brands but the insoles were wearing out quickly causing me back and knee discomfort. I bought these shoes for trail running, and ended up also using them for some tougher summer hikes where I wanted a more lightweight shoe and they held up beautifully. Sturdy and supportive with non-slip soles: handled rock scrambles and mud successfully, actually much better than my more expensive hiking shoes. Excellent value. :) ... show more

These shoes are great for hills. I use them for hiking and running in San Francisco. The color is (green) is a bit dreadful but likely why they were on sale. These do however meet my needs as I needed shoes built for hilly walks and runs. They are comfortable and very supportive. They also fit as expected! Now I have aches and pains when I return to my other pair of sneakers. The support is just that good. For those who only run on flat road, these may feel a bit heavy. ... show more

I've been wearing Asics for running for many years. The ortholite sockliner is very comfortable. Tip: I always order 1/2 size up for my running shoes so my toes have more space and toenails don't rub.
