Great shoes, love the extra deep tread. we live on gravel roads so I'm often slipping and tripping on loose rocks. Went for a 2 mile walk with these shoes and didn't trip or slip once. They are very stiff and a little narrow. I have to wear the taller socks while breaking them in because they really chewed up the back of my heel on that 2 mile walk. I think that's just how this brand is though because my husband had the same problem when I bought him some Asics a few months ago, although they did loosen up with time and wear. Other than that, they're comfortable to wear. Also worth noting, I have high arches and didn't have any pain or lack of support while wearing them.

I have owned few pairs of this brand and style, actually 3 pairs currently. One pair I had to go up a half a size seems to be slight variations in manufacturing. Two of my more recent purchases have shoe laces I don’t like. They are thin flat and flimsy, starting to twist from being tied and untied. Will buy new laces. I like the shoe, importantly they fit my foot. Not expensive shoes, great value, better fit than the expensive ones I own.

I love Asics sneakers but let's face the truth: THEY RUN SMALL and this is my 2nd pair. I returned the original pair that I ordered in my usual size but I should have remembered from the first time -they are TOO TIGHT. So I got the next size, and the fit is exactly the same! However, I am keeping them b/c I can wear them just not with any kind of thick sock. The price was too good to pass up. My sister-in-law gave me a new pair of hers b/c of the same reason, though they are a bit big (2 sizes larger than normal) but I can wear them with thick socks. My foot doc says they offer the best support, and he's a runner.

I had previously bought these at a sports store and had to buy again since I just absolutely LOVE this exact brand and model (and color scheme too 😆). As long as I can still get these in my size, I will continue to buy them to replace previous pair. I pretty much wear these sneakers or my flip-flops, so they get LOTS of use/abuse. I have a couple other color schemes now though, so I can use those for every day shoes, then use this color scheme (black with bright pink) for running only. I have collapsed arches and used to suffer from plantar fasciitis regularly. I'm so glad I found these shoes. I so love the fact that I can get them in the wide width my toe box requires. Most other shoes I've tried previously run narrow.

The shoes are beautiful - I got the grey and pink and they look like the picture. More importantly they feel wonderful and my toes can spread out. I ordered 8.5 wide, even though I have very narrow heels, because I have struggled for years to find shoes that accommodate my toes during running. These have enough cushion on the heels and enough lace holes to make them fit on the heels while still allowing room in the toe. They also have plenty of cushion on the soles. I love them.

These were pretty good shoes- lightweight, comfortable and versatile. A little narrower fit than my Gel-Venture 6, but still fit my feet. The soles lasted longer than the Gel-Ventures, too. Unfortunately I wore holes in the tops surprisingly fast. Usually by the time the tops of my shoes go I've already worn out the soles. When I search for the Trail Scout it now takes me to the Gel-Venture 7 listing. These may be discontinued at this point.

These are so comfortable and haven't required any break-in. I don't have to worry about the size as they fit the same with every pair. This is my 2nd pair of the Gel-Venture 7, I had the Gel-Venture 5 prior to these and it was just as comfortable. I walk every day on the streets as there are sidewalks in our neighborhood and the streets are uneven in many places. They hold up well, have good traction and I love the color I got. I will buy again if they still have the 7.

Best shoe I've ever worn!!! I've tried Nike, New balance, ,(Skechers good shoes to) you name it, but these are the best shoes ever I just did a 4-mile walk without socks, you do have to order half a size larger, I wear a nine wide I ordered a 9 1/2 wide fit perfectly so yes you do have to order a half size larger than you normally wear, and it fit perfectly, so yes you do have to order half a size larger, they are springy, the shoe is lightweight, it's 95° outside an my foot never got hot or sweaty stayed comfy, my toes are not squished plenty of box toe room, I have a wide foot I am a big girl 5'6, 200 lb country girl and they held up walking the railroad tracks the field the trail everything! best shoe ever made ! Finally after every shoe I could possibly try that's made in a wide I've even tried clarks, spirit, Earth origins, bear trap, any shoe made in a wide I've tried an none were totally comfortable, always had to suck it up in an uncomfortable part somewhere, but these👍💯every woman should own a pair of these! I wish I had found them sooner, good price!!! Thank you for finally making an amazing shoe🙌💗
