bought these to replace my usual discontinued model from asics that was the only pair of shoes i could wear with my problematic feet for the last 8 yrs. I didnt have much hope these would work. ordered the wide width and am glad i did. they fit well though a bit too long in length but im right between sizes so expected that. usually i remove the insert and replace with my prescription one but it didnt feel right in the arch, so i put it back in and put my insert over it. much better. there is some tightness on the top of my foot due to the increased internal height and some interior slippage of my foot within the shoe but am very pleased to report no foot pain after several prolonged walks outside. the slippage makes them not good for hilly hiking but for flat neighborhood walks these are great. very soft on the feet. much relieved. the shoe has an added bonus of being much more attractive than my last pair which was frankly fugly. ... show more

ORDER UP A FULL SIZE!!!! This is my 2nd pair of ASICS. The first was several years ago and I went to a sneaker store to be properly fitted. To my surprise the lady said you need an 81/2. I thought I’ve never been that size. Every pair of shoes I own are 7 1/2. The lady insisted and said they run small. She was correct. I didn’t forget that when ordering this pair despite the Amazon warnings that my size was 7 1/2. I received them today (8 1/2) and they fit like a glove. I put them on, went out and walked 4 miles and they literally felt like I was wearing clouds. So comfortable no rubbing and a perfect fit. My last pair I wore for at least 5 years (too long I know) I wore them into the ground. At the time they cost me $140.00. I’m pretty sure this is the same pair but different color. Ignore all other reviews and believe me when I tell you order a full size more than usual And don’t listen to any negative reviews. These sneakers are great and the price is amazing. ... show more

The shoes fi perfectly,it's really true to size and it is comfortable when I'm playing netball. The bottom of the shoes looks and feels sturdy I could walk and play in it for hours, I love it 💖😁.

I have been an ER registered nurse for going on 40 years and Asics sneakers have been my choice for work shoes for a good part of those years, especially later on in my career. Asics gel running shoes are extremely comfortable especially after being on your feet for a long 12 hour work shift. They provide excellent arch support, and the gel that you'll find in these running shoes prevents the aches and pains in my knees and feet that I would get much earlier in my shift with most other running shoes of the same type. They provide stability to the for/ankle, provide a solid support for walking or running, and are easy to slip on and off.     • Run very small, stitch at the toes

Size run very small. Also, there is there is a stitch that run along the top, at toes, which makes the shoes very uncomfortable to wear. Never had a stitch like that in any of my previous Asics.Hits one toes at the very end.
