I have purchased this brand of shoes for several years and I love them. I wear them for walking/jogging and they are extremely comfortable. The style and color is right on. The concern I’ve had with shoes for years is that each color fits a little differently. I have these in different colors and the white ones are wider than the shoes with color. Like other ASICS shoes, these are comfortable. They are not as "perfectly" comfortable as the ASICS Gel Kahana shoes (that are no longer made). Nonetheless, ASICS is one of the few brands I am willing to order instead of finding in a shoe store. I am sufficiently happy with the fit (especially the arch support) to keep them. ... show more

These are really nice shoes that I use for walking. They provide a lot of cushion so might be okay for light running. They seem to be nice quality shoes that fit well. The only negative is the color said beige and they are a very pale pink.

I’ve worn ASICS for years, but the Gel-Pulse 16s might be one of my favorites yet. Right out of the box, they felt incredibly comfortable, no break-in period, no rubbing, just soft cushioning that supports my feet on long walks and workouts. The gel cushioning really does make a difference, my knees and lower back feel noticeably better after wearing these compared to some of my older shoes. They’re lightweight but still sturdy, and the fit is true to size. I also love the way they look, very sleek, clean, and easy to pair with anything. Whether I’m running errands or getting actual miles in, these shoes keep my feet happy. If you want a dependable, comfy, everyday running shoe, these are definitely worth it. ... show more

Size: 8.5 Color: Concrete/Glacier Grey
Pros: The gray is a beautiful color. Very lightweight True to size Cons: Upper feels cheap. Sole material feels cheap and doesn't appear to have good traction, although I've not tested this. Laces are VERY long even when using the last set of eyes, which many people don't. No arch support Odd fit Unable to get a secure lock-down no matter how the shoe is laced. The Long Version: I'm not a runner but I wear running shoes for walking, standing, and daily wear. I typically wear Asics, New Balance, or Saucony neutral shoes. Neutral shoes, while not providing extra stability, should still provide support. These shoes fail to do so. There is no arch support and the heel counter does nothing to keep your heel in place. Combine the lack of support with the higher stack height and it felt as though I were walking on unstable marshmallows. The shoe was the correct size in both length and width, but the fit was very "off." No matter how I laced them, my foot would slide forward. Additionally, the materials looked and felt cheap. If you want a soft, unstable shoe, get this one. If this isn't the fit you want, look elsewhere. Mini Rant: If I wanted a Hoka, I'd buy a Hoka. I wish shoe manufacturers would quit increasing the stack height of shoes and quit trying to imitate Hoka in EVERY line they sell. To all shoe manufacturers: Please keep some traditional stack heights in your offerings! Not everyone wants or should be wearing maximal height shoes. ... show more
