I have been trying and return shoes on Amazon for about 2 months (suprised they didn't revoke my Amazon Try Before You Buy rights!) looking for some new running shoes. I usually wear Brooks, but I wanted to try some of the news foam/cushy varieties since Hoka brought a lot of that on the scene. These shoes are by far the best I have tried from Hoka, Reebok, New Balance, Adidas, Nike and Brooks. They don't look like crazy clown shoes (Adidas and New Balance similar styles were just huge- and I like big shoes) the toe box is wider without making your toes feel like they are sliding all over (Brooks do this to me, I think the mid sole is just a smidge too wide for my foot) and I feel like Hoka's are just really narrow in the midsole and small in the toe box- and I do not have a wide foot! New Blance Fresh Foam are higher in the toe so you feel like your toes are pointing at the ceiling and your calf is stretched in a weird way. This Asiscs shoe fits like a normal shoe, but the gel running up the middle of the shoe is amazing! So soft and cushy- the profile is supportive and so cushy you don't feel like you'll roll your ankle when your foot comes down. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!! I usually wear an 8.5 or 8 in open toe shoes- I have these in a 9 (what I typcially wear in running shoes) and they are perfect.

As a dedicated runner, finding the right pair of running shoes is absolutely essential for me. After trying out numerous brands and models, I recently stumbled upon the ASICS Women's Gel-Nimbus 25 Running Shoes. One of the standout features of the Gel-Nimbus 25 is its exceptional cushioning. The gel technology in the midsole provides an incredible amount of shock absorption, making each stride feel like I'm running on clouds. Whether I'm pounding the pavement or hitting the trails, these shoes provide unparalleled comfort and support. The plush cushioning also helps to reduce fatigue and prevent any unwanted aches and pains. Another key benefit of these shoes is their excellent stability. The ASICS Gel-Nimbus 25 features a heel counter that keeps my foot securely in place, preventing any unnecessary movement or slipping. This not only enhances my overall performance but also reduces the risk of injury. Additionally, the breathable mesh upper allows for maximum airflow, keeping my feet cool and dry even on hot summer days. The only drawback to note is that these shoes are slightly on the pricier side. However, considering the superior quality and durability they offer, I believe they are worth every penny. I have been using my Gel-Nimbus 25 for a couple months now and they still look and feel brand new. When you first try them on they feel incredible, but after breaking them in a bit, you REALLY notice the cushion in the heel area. I have stress fractured my heels in the past wear Nike Free Run shoes and I was advised by my sports medicine doctor to avoid Nike for any future running shoes I buy. He recommended a few different brands, Asics being one of them, and after finding these - I am hooked. These shoes really give me the support I need.

I’ve been looking at and wanting to try these shoes for a while, and now that I have, I wish I hadn’t waited so long! While first putting them on, I realized the tongue of the shoe is a stretchy, neoprene type material. I really like it! I have wide feet, and the wide width is just perfect. In Brooks, I wear a 9 wide, but based on measurements given in the chart, I ordered a 9.5 wide in these. They’re the perfect length. As far as the feel of the shoes when walking (I’m not a runner), these are very cushioned but still supportive. I tend to roll my feet outward (supinate) a bit when I walk, and these really feel like they keep my feet straight. The sole / base of the shoes feels nice and wide, but they don’t look like clown shoes on my feet at all. They just feel amazing! I also love the color I got… the grey with blue and pink on the side of the sole. They’re so pretty! And I really love and appreciate that there are so many color choices in wide width. Usually, we’re stuck with only one or two rather bland choices but not with these! Overall, as soon as I put these on and took a walk around my apartment for several minutes, I loved them and knew I would be keeping them. I’m going to be walking around for miles at Universal Studios in a couple of months and will update after that as to how they did on the trip! Update after the Universal Studios trip… the shoes were awesome!! I’m slightly overweight and not in great shape at all, but even after walking around for 5+ hours, my feet didn’t hurt a bit after wearing these! Highly recommended!

Great supportive yet cushioning running shoes that I use for walking shoes. The fit is amazing, they look great and feet feel wonderful. I took a long time in researching for my perfect walking shoe and these hit all the boxes. Definitely will buy again!

The most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever purchased. Pricey but worth it. For those with wide feet, the medium fit is actually perfect. I have arthritic pain in both feet, and prefer a wide width shoe, but went out in a limb and purchased and really glad I did. Using them to coach in and walk, and I’m impressed.
