This model is nice and for trail running shoes are very comfortable and do not need to be broken in. I also use them to go to the gym. I'm a big ASICS fan! I have been running for over 30 yrs and ASICS has been my choice for the last 10+ yrs. now. I don't run very much on asphalt or concrete anymore...prefer to run on dirt (trails, paths, sand etc...) These Trail runners are life changing!!! Light weight, fit perfectly (I always choose a size up on my running shoes. I'm a size 5, so I buy a size 6). They seem to make me feel more stable and they grip very well! I would definitely recommend these Trail runners!...Infact, I just bought another pair!!! Happy Feet! ... show more

I saw reviews saying to size up, but in my 15ish years of wearing only asics brand, different models, I consistently wear 6 1/2. These seemed a bit smaller but i thought they'd be fine because, ohmygosh... they are so soft and cushy. However, after my first real run it was obvious they were not going to work out so I had to buy a size up to 7. It's not totally fair to dock them a star because I went against my better judgement to exchange the first pair wasting my money, but I'm annoyed about it. Why is this shoe's 6 1/2 different? I DO totally recommend these as they are good quality, have good traction, super comfy -consider sizing up. ... show more

Love these shoes. I work out in them 4 times a week. Soles are pretty thick so not the best for weight lifting but wonderful for cardio. Support is good.
