The GEL-EXCITE 9 shoe is a comfortable trainer for the casual fitness runner. Thanks to its engineered jacquard mesh upper, this material increases airflow while creating a softer feel against your foot. I needed a pair of shoes for playing outdoor pickleball but the shoes advertised for pickleball are problematic. If you read through the one-star reviews on pickleball shoes, you'll read over and over that the tread wears within months, that the side support (which is a must in this sport) is lacking and they're uncomfortable to play in. And most of them are around the $100 price range. So I tried these Asics running shoes instead. Turns out this gel-excite series is made to keep your foot more centered on the shoe's platform and to reduce the overall weight of the shoe. It does both and the side support is fantastic. I play up to 3 hours a day and have absolutely no pain in my feet when I'm done.

Finally! A good shoe! I’ve always liked ASICS but haven’t had a pair in probably 5yrs. After trying other brands that weren’t very comfortable & didn’t last (adidas & Nike) I decided to try this brand after reading all the good reviews. Im glad I did! They are so comfortable & cushioning is great! They hug my feet! Im normally a size 8 shoe, but ASICS have been known to run larger on me so I ordered 7.5 & they fit perfectly! I’ve ran 8x in these already & they feel phenomenal!

I really like these shoes and they have amazing support. I bought them to walk on my treadmill (I walked the soles off my Sketchers!) and read good reviews about them. I picked these over other shoes I was looking at because I walk on the inside of my foot, and these shoes had a support to correct that. The support is both the best thing about these shoes and the worst. The good part is that it does kind of force my foot into better alignment, but the bad part is that the same support caused the inside of my heels to rub and I got these MASSIVE blisters. I had to get a cushion for that side of my heel in order to keep wearing these shoes. I have to say, though... It does help my back pain, so the blisters and spending more money on cushions is worth it in the end.

These ASICS shoes offer support and cushion when walking/jogging. These are true to size. Removing one star because when putting on the shoe the heel tends to fold over and I can tell overtime that the material will bunch up. Overall pleased, so if you're searching for a new pair of trainers, I would recommend these.

I’m a big fan is the asic brand and that’s did not disappoint. True to size. Good support. Easy to tie long laces. Black color goes with everything. These are my daily shoes and have help up really well the past couple months. I would even say once these wear out that I will buy another pair of the same shoe.

The insoles are so comfortable. I stand on concrete for 8 to 10 hours a day and since I got these shoes my feet so much better by the end of the day. Would recommend these shoes to everyone.

First of all, I loved the color. I don't have any tennis shoes in this color family. I usually stick to a variety of blues. These are very padded. Feels like walking on slippers. I added my orthotics since I have narrow feet and they fit fine. The shoe laces are not as long as some of my other shoes. This is actually better because i tie them once and they stay tied. I have only worn them for about a week but they seem just fine. I walk every morning for about 2 miles. I used to buy Asics all the time then switched brands. Now I realize that Asics are best for me. You can't beat the comfort and they always come in neat colors

I worried at first. Couldn't believe that the shoes would be comfortable at such a low cost but, THEY ARE GREAT. At first, they felt a little snug (I have big feet) and I had to break them but, now they fit fabulously. Great support and they aren't wearing out quickly like some brands do. Even my colleague bragged about buying the same shoes. When I purchased them, I bought three different colors and the outcome is the same for all. So, I'll probably be back to buy more soon!
