The GEL-EXCITE 9 shoe is a comfortable trainer for the casual fitness runner. Thanks to its engineered jacquard mesh upper, this material increases airflow while creating a softer feel against your foot. A combination of AMPLIFOAM cushioning and GEL technology are placed in the midsole. These features provide better impact absorption with a more forgiving landing at footstrike.

I’m kid 20’s size 9, I have. A few of these shoes because they’re my favorite for my daily workouts. I jog, do Pilates, all kinds of things and these are just a really comfy shoe all around. Highly recommend. They’re not the very most trendy looking but a few of the colors are cute. So glad they’re on Amazon for a good price because they’re way more $ at dsw. Every few weeks I wash my shoes with a sponge and dish soap in the sink and set them outside to dry for a few days and they’re like new again.

These shoes are so colorful and light. I just love them for running on my treadmill!♡ I usually purchase Asics Gel Kayano, but decided to give these a try because of the cost and color scheme. :) When you are accustomed to paying $150 every year for a new pair, $50 is a screaming deal and the reviews are great as well! I ALWAYS read the reviews before I buy. I usually wear a 7.5, but take an 8 in all Asics for the toe box, so I purchased an 8 and they fit great! While I'm sad that the Gel Kayano has changed in design, I stick with Asics because they easily fit my D/green Superfeet and never give me heel blisters while running. Even if these only last me 6 months, I would still purchase them again. Thank you!♡

This shoe is absolutely awesome. I have tried three other shoe brands and this is by far the most comfortable I have worn. Right out of the box with no breaking in and super comfortable all day. I have plantar fasciitis which took 9 months to heal and so I am super diligent in wearing good fitting shoes with proper support. My daughter's Podiatrist recommended this shoe among others that we both have tried. This is the winner in comfort, support, fit, style and the price was more affordable than other options. I will buy another pair for sure!

My sister is a CNA and walks about 18,000 steps a day. She got rid of all of her nursing shoes and replaced them. These particular ASICS Women's Gel-Excite 9 are the only ones she will wear now. I borrowed one of her pair when visiting her. I walk about 2 miles a day. As soon as I got home I order the exact pair. Thank you ASICS for making such a comfortable shoe.

I’ve been wearing ASICS for 15+ years. PRO: These are lightweight but feel sturdy and have good arch support (which other lightweight shoes don’t seem to have). CON: The back of the shoe protrudes forward causing discomfort on my Achilles tendon region. I’ve never had this issue with other ASICS and it didn’t improve after breaking them in (still get blisters). I ended up buying athletic cushioned socks so I could wear these. Overall a good shoe but I don’t think I’d buy them again.

I have purchased several pairs of Asics over the last few years without any issues. This pair was a lovely rose color and were well made. When I went to put them on, the upper part of the shoes where the laces go in, was so stiff and tight that I almost had to take the laces completely out to get them on my foot. When I did get my foot in, the pain on the top of my foot was excruciating. I had to send them back. They were apparently a narrow size and it wasn't indicated (or I didn't see anything on it) when I purchased them. If they had them in a wider size and a LESS stiff upper, I would certainly try them again. I love Asics support and style.

Great shoe, true to size. I expected a different look visually- the photo makes the shoe appear a bit more pink and also with a bit of texture/contrast. It looked more solid lavender in person. Returned.
