The responsive and robust Amplifoam midsole ensures a comfortable fit. Combined with the gel cushioning, these properties offer great comfort and endurance readiness. A Guidance Line technology allows the foot a more natural and even running movement as well as more stability.

Due to a major surgery on my left foot to correct my broken toes, torn ligaments and tendons it’s been a long journey trying to find the perfect sneakers or shoes to support my foot. I have the exact same size in the Gel Contend 6 and these shoes are the same length. This pair in my regular Asics size fits fine, maybe even better. Theres a comfortable amount of toe space and doesn't feel too narrow, there's a noticeable cushion under my heel. Maybe there is too much arch support for my flatter feet, but we'll see. Just trying it on and walking in the house it does not feel too small at all like other reviews are saying. Fit is good, comfortable. I literally wore them right away…the box showed up today, I put them on, and my husband and I went for a walk in the park. Longevity remains to be seen…I’ll update this review after a few months.

    • Decent sneakers for price point
These are great sneakers for the price point. There was no “breaking in” phase for me and I was able to jump into all my strength and conditioning workouts without any issues! I wish the arch support was a bit higher but with this price point, it’s hard to beat!! Would purchase again!

I am so excited to find this older style of ASIC tennis shoes. It is so comfortable. I have used my first pair to take my longer walks for the past couple years since they fit so well. Though they are still in good shape, it is time for a new pair. I have narrow feet so the more expensive tennis shoes, like HOKA or Brooks, don't fit me. ... show more
