This line of asics is great for wider feet that aren't necessarily wide enough for shoes that are sized as WIDE. I sized up half a size and these fit perfectly. The color looks like a periwinkle in person. The shoes itself is stylish without being too over the top. This is my first pair of asics, and I plan on sticking with this brand, especially given the price point and quality of these. I would liken the feel to bouncing on a gymnastics gym floor. I historically loved the gel excite 6’s, but I could no longer find them. I tried these and while the sole is thicker in person, they are comfortable and have a good rock to them. These shoes are amazing for HIIT workouts. They fit comfortably in the straps on the rower, great for stability in the weight room, and can hold up well on the treadmill, both peer walking and running. I’m 5’4’’ currently 220lbs (coming down from 320lbs) and I would say these fit very true to size. I’ve always worn 9.5 women’s shoes since I was a kid and that’s what I bought this time. These shoes are beautiful and I was excited when I saw them. However, I have a high arch and they were very tight on the top of my foot. They felt fine length wise and my foot felt well supported. However, they was just too much material on the top.
