I’m a dog walker who goes through shoes at an alarming rate. For the last few years I’ve been exclusively buying Gel Nimbus ASICS because they are soft fluffy clouds for my feet. However, the gel nimbus 25 had some significant changes that did not support my feet and ended up causing me pain. In my haste to buy new shoes I accidentally bought these, the gel cumulus. Ive only had them for 24 hours but they feel great. So comfy and supportive. I use my own custom insoles that fit in perfectly. These seem lighter than the gel nimbus and just a vast improvement from those clunky nimbus 25 soles. I also love the tight knit mesh because my toe doesn’t wear through as fast, I’m not sure if these will last as long but shoes are an important investment for me and it’s worth it. My feet work hard, so I wore this shoe around the house for a couple LONG days. It is VERY comfortable when you first put it on. I like the look okay (borderline wild in dk purple w/ bright orange accents/sole.) After several hours (4?5?) I was surprised that my feet hurt. I love how the Gore-Tex liner keeps out the dew and dampness. Also, in my regular size, the shoe was tight; I had to go up 1/2 size, but then fit was good. ... show more

    • Most cushioned ASICS style!
This style is my absolute most favorite style from ASICS!! My feet are narrow with high arches and I hammer toes too and these are the most comfortable and cushioned shoe ever! Feels like I’m walking on clouds! No need to break in as they are perfect the minute you put them on. Definitely costs more but worth it in the end for less aches and pains. I loved this color, so I bought these even though they are women's shoes. I am not a woman. I wasn't sure of my shoe size, so I used the CM size from my current Asics and went off of that. The women's shoes were much, much cheaper, and this model (and year) feel like some pillows on my feet, bro. Asics changed these shoes in the past, and they sucked for a number of years. They changed them back to more cushion a few years back, and they are pretty awesome. I use them to walk, jog, or stand in the operating room all day at work. I love these Asics! They feel like you are stepping on clouds. They have a lot of cushion in the heel area, so wonderfup for people that get pain there at times. They help me stay straight when I run. I get so many compliments on this orchid color! I do find that they run small. I am a size 7, and an 8.5 is what fits me comfortably. You will feel like you are floating with these shoes. My jogs are easier too! Highly recommend! I never get blisters in Asics. I have with past Nike and other brands. I am going to buy more colors! And every year, the last year Asics go on sale. So it’s not too expensive to update your shoes ( padding wears down every year or so). Magnificent shoes!
