Got them for $100.00. Good shoes good price. I suffer from a myriad of Foot problems, requiring me to wear orthotics and lifts. I don’t need orthotics with these shoes. When I want to . put orthotics in them, they’re good for that, but I have to buy them a size up. This particular a shoe is a running shoe, and has soles that stick out on the inside of your legs. This can cause tripping. I prefer the soles not to stick out from the shoe. I bought those crazy Nike waffle shoes when they came out and they were ridiculous for that very reason. and for looking stupid, of course. Like all ASICS they’ll be durable, the quality is good, they are good for walking, have nice padding that actually compresses when I take a step such that I can feel it .

Does the money go to the tribe? Cause I’ve never paid $90 for a paperback before but I’m pretty old and I wasn’t in college for the last 40 years. Anyway, it’s a good book. I bought it because it was recommended somewhere. I couldn’t find any other books at the time and now I found a ton right there on Amazon. Anyways, I started by learning from Clayton Long on YouTube. His classes are excelle and he writes up slides that you can see and copy down the stuff that he’s reading to you. Also, if you do these classes, you’ll understand it’s booked pretty well for the sounds because he has one of those great accents of the elders and I wish he would just Babylon for hours and I could just listen to it and absorb it. But he does a class that’s pretty good. It would be better if the people in it didn’t keep interrupting it Request for translations in IT advice, but I think it’s great for free!

This is my second pair of Asics Gel Contend shoes. Due to foot issues, I need a larger toe box. This shoe works well and is very comfortable. I love the color, and the laces are sturdy and stay tied. I normally wear a 9,5 shoe, but because of a right foot bunion I ordered the 10.5 and can wear with sock liners. This allows me to walk 4 or 5 miles daily, at age 77 years.. Great product. I also wear HOKA shoes for hiking and walking, but these are much less expensive. Good quality for the price!

I love this shoe. So comfortable and fits just like my previous Asics; breathable and not stiff. I find they run slightly small, so consider ordering a half size up (I typically wear an 8 but need an 8.5 in these). Note that the indigo fog color is not very accurate based on the product images. These are a really pretty dark blue-violet (see my photo), not grayish purple. Super happy with purchase and color!

I’m always a little hesitant to buy shoes online because I have difficulty finding shoes that are comfortable, but I love these ASICS. The first day I wore them I walked several miles and my feet didn’t hurt at all. They are a little wider in the front which is perfect for me and the color looks good with everything. I will probably be buying a second pair.

I love basics shoes! I have been buying them since I sold high end athletic shoes in 1995! That's over 30 years! They are still my favorite. The wide toe box, snug heal, and overall support fits my foot perfectly! It is the one shoe I can buy and not feel like I need to break them in first. I have very wide feet and zi don't want something bulky. These are lightweight and durable! Highly recommended!
