Great value. Extremely comfortable. True to size. Wider than new balance and the upper is not tight or restricting. I've ordered several shoes online and they've been very tight even ordering an extra wide. I ordered an 11 Wide and it's actually wide. It has changed my HIIT workouts and my feet knees and ankles aren't hurting like before. Very light weight to me but I'm not a runner. I put my new balance insoles in to replace originals and they fit perfectly. Highly recommend these. I wear size 10 in pretty much all Lane Bryant shoes and bought an 11 Wide and it fits great! I really like these, and the colors pop. Pretty comfortable, although they run kind of small. I usually wear a 6.5 so bought a 7. They fit, but toes are right to the edge. I believe they will stretch a bit as I wear them, so don’t feel the need to return

I love this shoe so far. I usually wear an 8.5, but know that I need to order 9.5 in a running shoe. The shoe fit perfectly, and is very comfortable. I had also ordered an ASIC Gel-Venture 9 (same size) but the toe box was too big for my foot and I returned them. The toe box on the Contend 8 was right sized and laced perfectly without bunching as was happening with the Venture 9. I also really like the look of this shoe - there were a lot of really nice colors. They were a great price, so if I'm still happy after using them for a week I'll order another pair so I can switch off. So far 5 stars! ... show more

This is the third or fourth pair of Asics I have bought. Their quality and sizing is consistent, so I always know what I'm getting. I buy a half size larger than other shoes to accommodate for socks. I like Asics because they have a wide toe box and they're very comfortable. I don't run, but I wear them for working out and for walking. A pair will last 2-3 years for me. Since trying Asics a year ago, it's the only brand I'll buy. Their comfort and support are the best! I ordered up a half size and they fit perfectly. I was searching for a pair of black and purple ones. These are beautiful!

I've had these for over a month and have worn them every day. They're sturdy, well made and so comfortable and the more I wear them the more I like them. They don't look like loaves of bread on my feet and they give good support to me as well as the orthodics I tried. It took looking at 20 pairs of other brands to find these. (Hilarious, but true.) Also, as I mentioned in my first review, I use them as a hands-free slip on and off. The heel collars are very sturdy. I just make sure the tip of the heel collars are positioned vertically when I quickly (like another hands-free brand as seen on TV) put them on. In fact, comparably, the heel collars are very similar to one of the hands-free brands @ $125. per pair. ... show more

great price and fun colors . I LOVE ASICS, HOWEVER, this pair seems "off" I usually take a size 8 in this brand and this one has a really wide toe box and it feels like I am wearing clown shoes, I have a wide foot to begin with but this shoe fits funny, not happy at all but I have already worn them so I cannot return, Glad they were on sale and super cheap for ASICS.
