This is the third or fourth pair of Asics I have bought. Their quality and sizing is consistent, so I always know what I'm getting. I buy a half size larger than other shoes to accommodate for socks. I like Asics because they have a wide toe box and they're very comfortable. I don't run, but I wear them for working out and for walking. A pair will last 2-3 years for me. I highly recommend them.

I love this shoe so far. I usually wear an 8.5, but know that I need to order 9.5 in a running shoe. The shoe fit perfectly, and is very comfortable. I had also ordered an ASIC Gel-Venture 9 (same size) but the toe box was too big for my foot and I returned them. The toe box on the Contend 8 was right sized and laced perfectly without bunching as was happening with the Venture 9. I also really like the look of this shoe - there were a lot of really nice colors. They were a great price, so if I'm still happy after using them for a week I'll order another pair so I can switch off. So far 5 stars!

Great value. Extremely comfortable. True to size. Wider than new balance and the upper is not tight or restricting. I've ordered several shoes online and they've been very tight even ordering an extra wide. I ordered an 11 Wide and it's actually wide. It has changed my HIIT workouts and my feet knees and ankles aren't hurting like before. Very light weight to me but I'm not a runner. I put my new balance insoles in to replace originals and they fit perfectly. Highly recommend these. I wear size 10 in pretty much all Lane Bryant shoes and bought an 11 Wide and it fits great! There's plenty of room in toe box for me. Good quality and it feels durable. Looks great and just like pic.

This is the first pair of sneakers I’ve ordered that fit well, are well made and constructed and very eye appealing. The heel collar is strong and, even though they don’t have removable insoles, they are very comfortable. The netting is jacquard and affords decent breathability. I can even use them as a “hands free - no tie” slip on. I’ve been searching for so long for something this great. The pricing is excellent also.

I started with Contend 3; I don’t wear anything else. BUT, they do wear out fast - within 40 miles or so, you’ll see the trend begin to level out or flatten on the sole. I replace mine every year .

They are too tight around my left ankle and left foot that I had injured otherwise it was a sturdy shoe the arch support should have been a little bit better but it caused a lot of pain at the end of my walk so I'm returning them. Perhaps I need an extra wide sneaker or maybe another style might fit better
