These shoes are everything I had hoped for when I ordered them. They look great, fit like a glove, they are very comfortable! I tried several pairs of shoes, but returned them as they did not meet the goals one would desire in a court shoe. I use them on an indoor pickleball court (hardwood surface) and the grip is very good, by this I mean it grips just the right amount. For example, you don't want too much grip and twist an ankle when planting your foot to stop on a quick sharp movement. Likewise, it offers plenty of grip to take off quickly without any slippage. These shoes should perform well outdoors as they do on our indoor courts. I am very pleased and highly recommend these excellent shoes! You won't find a better shoe, even at 2-3 times the price this is offered on Amazon. Save yourself and Amazon some time and hassle, just pick these shoes first and you will be playing right away, no need to continue your search for a great pair of court shoes. I originally had the Gel-Renma's and really liked those shoes for pickleball, a little narrow but they were great. I think these shoes are actually better. They breathe better because toe box is mesh vs the Renma's are not. You may lose a some durability because of that difference but my feet run hot so I guess we will see how they hold up. I also feel like the Upcourt 5's are a pinch wider. If you do have a wide foot I would be careful because this shoe might not work for you, keep that in mind. Overall, great shoe!     • Narrow shoes, decent grip

So far pretty good. The grip on the bottom is pretty good but as good as another shoe I just wore out. The shoe is a bit narrow, so I loosened the strings - and since the string is relatively short, there is not enough string to tie a knot. Not a deal breaker since the most important thing for me is quality and grip on the bottom since I play racquetball. Overall pretty pleased with the shoes and grip and the value is there for the price. Quality seems pretty decent. The previous shoe I wore out started having the top part of the sole peel off after just 3 times, and this one I didn't have any issue with so far after a few times wearing. ... show more

I am a woman’s size 9 and purchased a men’s size 7.5 because I like the wider width you automatically get with a man’s shoe. But the shoe was still too tight in length and in width. But I like the shoe so I am going to order again - but larger!

    • Great shoe but sole wears down quick.
I’ve had these shoes for right at 3 months. I play at least 5 days a week for about 3 hours per day. Exterior looks almost brand new, very little wear or issues. The soles are almost totally slick and staring to wear through around the edges. Shoes provide great support while stopping sore and painful feet after playing pickleball. I love the shoes but going to look for some that may have a more durable sole. ... show more
