Nice shoes. Only 4/5 due to comfort. Not sure why but they lack the comfort I expect from ASICS. For the last ten years I’ve only worn ASICS. They fit my foot the best. These are fine shoes but not as comfortable as the venture 9’s.

These shoes are everything I had hoped for when I ordered them. They look great, fit like a glove, they are very comfortable! I tried several pairs of shoes, but returned them as they did not meet the goals one would desire in a court shoe. I use them on an indoor pickleball court (hardwood surface) and the grip is very good, by this I mean it grips just the right amount. For example, you don't want too much grip and twist an ankle when planting your foot to stop on a quick sharp movement. Likewise, it offers plenty of grip to take off quickly without any slippage. These shoes should perform well outdoors as they do on our indoor courts. I am very pleased and highly recommend these excellent shoes! You won't find a better shoe, even at 2-3 times the price this is offered on Amazon. Save yourself and Amazon some time and hassle, just pick these shoes first and you will be playing right away, no need to continue your search for a great pair of court shoes. Great shoes - I play pickleball outdoors on a hard court three times a week and these are worn out in 5 months. I guess about 100 hrs of play to get to this state

    • They fit and are comfortable!
I love the way these shoes fit. The only caveat is I wear size 9 1/2 but the 9 1/2 was too tight. I preferred the size 10 and they were the perfect size. I immediately took off the laces and replaced them with elastic laces so I could easily remove the shoes without untying them. I have another brand of shoes and no matter how tight I tie them they would come loose. I’ve almost tripped countless times from laces hanging loose. I vowed then to replace my primary shoes with elastic laces for convenience and for safety. I don’t know what that other brand made their shoelaces out of (described above) but they were dangerous. The material of the laces would not stay tied. Sometimes I would tie them in three knots and they still came loose. I can’t tell you how many times I almost fell against walls, furniture and dangerous equipment. Needless to say, I highly recommend elastic (no tie) laces! ... show more

I've always been a fan of Asics shoes. This is not a new model but a great dependable shoe. They are not the lightest but they fit like a glove. They have awesome support. The soles don't slip on the court and support me really good. When I need a new pair these become my street shoes. Solid shoe, narrow across bridge of foot - need to upsize for wide foot. minimal padding of insole. Laces are too short.
