Snug fit, size is right. I measure my feet with one of those scales at Dick's sporting goods and this shoe was exact fit. I also have flat feet and there is no high built in arch. Used them for indoor volleyball for 2 hrs today, needed to tighten them after 1st match but that's fine. Comfortable, medium cushioning and snug fit which is good for hard stop and starts. Also light, not a heavy shoe.

Nice shoes. Only 4/5 due to comfort. Not sure why but they lack the comfort I expect from ASICS. For the last ten years I’ve only worn ASICS. They fit my foot the best. These are fine shoes but not as comfortable as the venture 9’s.

Signed up for a my first fitness class in years as part of New Year resolutions. As soon as we started doing jumping jacks, mountain climbers and lateral mobility exercises, I found my foot rolling inside my traditional running shoes - and indeed felt very unstable in the forefoot and ankle area. These shoes may be designed for v-ball, but they are great for they gym - not too heavy (like a lots of tennis show based cross trainers are) and not as dorky looking as many current cross fit shoes. They look similar to older Puma and Adidas Samba soccer shoes (except they have a fabric vs leather upper). A nice relatively sticky "blonde" sole that holds well without squeaking or marking) but that is flexible enough for moderate treadmill work (2-4Miles). And a the current price, about ½ the price of a running shoe like my Sacouny Guides. May actually buy a second set as my street sport shoe too.

These shoes are everything I had hoped for when I ordered them. They look great, fit like a glove, they are very comfortable! I tried several pairs of shoes, but returned them as they did not meet the goals one would desire in a court shoe. I use them on an indoor pickleball court (hardwood surface) and the grip is very good, by this I mean it grips just the right amount. For example, you don't want too much grip and twist an ankle when planting your foot to stop on a quick sharp movement. Likewise, it offers plenty of grip to take off quickly without any slippage. These shoes should perform well outdoors as they do on our indoor courts. I am very pleased and highly recommend these excellent shoes! You won't find a better shoe, even at 2-3 times the price this is offered on Amazon. Save yourself and Amazon some time and hassle, just pick these shoes first and you will be playing right away, no need to continue your search for a great pair of court shoes. See you on the court!

I ordered these shoes for outdoor Pickleball use they are very comfortable and stable. However, I sadly decided to return them because they appear to be more suitable for indoor use. If I played indoors, I would definitely keep these, but don’t want to risk the potentially faster wear and tear since these are specifically stated to be for use for indoor play. Otherwise, I can tell these are great shoes for those who play volleyball or indoor Pickleball.

I have a bone spur on my left big toe that I have to manage carefully (early 40's). I want snug-fitting, durable, lightweight, but very supportive shoes. I'm willing to pay for that so I can keep doing all the activities I love and still avoid over-use of my toe. These shoes...I thought were going to be too tight, a tad snug right at my big toe joint...but they ended up loosening up a bit and have been perfect. I really, really like them. I know they're volleyball shoes, and I've been somewhat competitive before, but not for many years. So, I can't really speak to their effectiveness when playing volleyball, however I imagine because of the features mentioned already, that they'd be pretty good. I really like them. Probably will order more.
