Until now I only wore gel- contend model 5 or 6 but it has become close to impossible to find them in size 11 x-wide So I took a gamble since these ASICS come in that size. What a pleasant surprise. They are very light perhaps not as well made as the high end models but they are super inexpensive and quite comfortable. They are NOT heavy duty sneakers but good for relaxing and doing nothing. I have a black pair and now a white pair. I have a wide toe area and these 4E shoes are pretty good for that. Not perfect but good enough. I actually remove the insole for more room and less padding. The toe box is roomy height wise too which is key. The all black is timeless and can be worn with anything. The all white is for summer. I wish they would make this exact shoe forever. ... show more
