I use these for general training, mostly on road and dirt surfaces. I find them very comfortable and true to size. They're not overly springy but they provide good cushioning and good stability. I've had knee and back surgery so that's important to me. Minimal heel to toe drop allows for a variety of strides so they adjust well to different conditions. They're also quite stable and lighter than they look. Not a racing shoe, tho (obviously). I bought them in two colors by accident but like them enough to keep both pairs. I’ve been looking for a quality active shoe with a higher top that wouldn’t break the bank for months. I really liked the super bright color scheme and the sporty design. Typically a light weight shoe is cheap and doesn’t hold up. This shoe feels super durable and solid and EXTREMELY supportive. I wear a women’s 9 so I sized down in this shoe to an 8 and it fits like a glove! If you are a woman and looking for a high performance sneaker do not hesitate to buy this one. Great shoes for trails. They're light, sturdy and comfortable to wear. The fit is precise, meaning, whatever your athletic shoes size that you're currently wearing will be what you need with these. I'm a 10 and I like a wider fit so I bought 10w and SPOT ON fit. Very happy. Good comfy shoe. I am using them as my knock arounds...basically they are my next ABUSE SHOES. I have a pair of old ASICS that are nearly falling apart and have epoxy, superglue and some duct tape on them. Soon those will head to the landfill and these will be the replacements for the next decade of abuse. ... show more

The value for the money is there, with a new sport in sole the shoe is blister free, has good versatility and traction. It is a quality walking shoe and sole does allow protection for arch support but is not for running.
