It's just black, the graphite is barely noticeable. But it is super light and very comfortable. Kind of slick finish material. Good quality. I'm kind of in-between a 9 and 9 wide. Opted for the 9 and it fit fine. I wanted a snugger more supportive feel. I got it with this show.

Very comfortable, stable platform and rugged shoe for daily exercise at the gym and walking. Aggressive tread pattern makes the shoe great for cycling for those of us who cannot clip in. Grips the pedals well.

These are really good shoes & very comfortably! The sole of the shoe is thicker then most! Perfectly good for city life or country life! One drawback is when they get wet, they are wet - they dry out pretty quickly oh! 😉

I needed shoes to hike up Angels Landing in Zion. I decided on purchasing these instead of boots to allow a little more range of motion. I wasn't expecting much due to the price. Boy was I wrong. These shoes are durable. It can definitely take a beating. The material is sturdy, but lightweight. It seems to be water retardent, but not fully waterproof. The shoes also look pretty good. But most importantly, they were comfortable to wear. I was able to complete the hike with no issues. The shoes were grippy (a must when hiking on smooth sandstone) and did not impeded in walking.     • Asics jumps the shark

Meh. I used to really like Asics shoes. I have a neutral pronation and the arches have always felt significantly better than other brands. I also have a somewhat narrow foot, and I didn't swim in the mediums like some other shoes. All that is gone. I have a couple pairs of the Venture 7's and the fit is like night and day. You have to really crank the laces to get an acceptable fit, and in a few hours they will stretch out enough to require readjustment. You can say these are gel, but the cushioning factor is non-existent. And to top it off, don't count on the colors being representative. These light gray ones do not look like the photos. I purchased a dark gray pair from a different source and in the daylight the fabric looks purple. Going to be moving on to other brands, unfortunately.
