Those shoes are lightweight and provide plenty of cushioning. They are comfortable and provide neutral support. They have excellent quality and durability. My last pair of Nimbus lasted for more than 500 kilometers.

I was debating between a few shoes and ended up going with the ASICS. I’m more than happy with my purchase. Soft cushion but with the comfort! I went with wide which seems to be perfect. It’s ASICS quality that you can’t beat!!

    • Great recover/comfort shoes

I needed some every day shoes to wear around the house and during the day for normal things I do. I do not run or jog but I do walk my dogs 4-5 times a day and I am on my feet a lot. I am older and weight 200 lbs. so I was putting a lot of stress on my feet, and they were starting to hurt when I walked. I did a lot of research and pretty much ended up buying several high end "recovery" or "comfort" shoes. Nike, Brooks, Asics, Addidas, Hoka, On, etc. And for the money I think the Asics Nimbus 27 provide the best combination of cushion and stability. Some other shoes had more padding but were unstable, others were stable but didn't have enough padding. And because a newer Asics model is available (Nimbus 28) you can find the Nimbus 27 at a discount and I feel they are just as good as the newer version. ... show more

    • Great Balance of Cushion and Stability for Heavier Runners

My new favorite running shoes! Overall really good for heavier runners and those with knee injuries. I originally researched the shoe for its cushion and support for my knees and shins for long distance running and for heavier runners, and these were in the Top 3. Some of the other high cushion shoes are a bit clunky (for heavier runners), but these Asics ones fit really well. The color is pretty true to photos, and the styles match what you're expecting when you open the box. A lot of other running shoes come out differently than described, so I was very pleased with these. Even with how much cushion they have, they are a very steady shoe to walk and run in, and hold your feet together well while providing the protection for your knees and legs. To start, shoes are super subjective and vary individual by individual, so please keep that in mind while reading my review. I love ASICS and almost exclusively have ASICS in my running shoe rotation. These shoes felt amazing under my feet. They were plush and soft and very comfortable. I also love that this model offers attractive colors in wide and extra wide widths. Much like all other ASICS shoes, they feel very well made and durable. I gave them a 4 star rating just because they seem to run large and seem to have a small degree of slippage around my heel that I couldn’t fix. Right of, great shoe. I much prefer them to HOKA. I previously had a pair of Gel Nimbus 25s which were the the most comfortable shoes I ever owned. They were even a big part of the answer to my 18 months of Plantar Fasciitis. So naturally and unreluctantly I ordered a pair of the 26s. Major disappointment. They cheaped out on the soul and it was more like a lower end model. It wasn't long before they realized their mistake. The 27 did not disappoint. Absolutely worth it! I just picked up running as my daily work out. These help with my knee pain and feel light as a feather! They feel like your walking on a bouncy cloud. If your starting out with walks and runs I'd definitely recommend these. I wouldn't recommend using them as your daily shoes however, the foam is not durable enough to be worn day to day. As you can see my left shoe has a bit of foam that got damaged and sticks out a bit because I was using them like normal shoes. They're extremely comfortable. Stretchy tongue and smooth laces make them easy to put on. The shoes are made of sturdy materials asides the foam soles. They do squeak on polished floors. ... show more
