My posture might be wrong or my old shoes might be too overdue. I used an ASICS Fluidaxis for years, bought that pair in 2016 to start my running journey. It's 2024 now I just realized I may be due for another shoe. The fluidaxis is still in good shape considering it must have more than 700mi already as I use it not only for running, but for everyday activities too. The soles have become so hard in the last 2 years that it hurts my ankles if I run for more than 1.5 hrs. I bought the Nimbus as a Christmas present to myself and it will strictly be used for running only. The first thing I noticed when I put these on is that I felt I was hovering from the floor. I have been using ASIC running shoes for a long time and they are great then I tried the most expensive ones thinking would be better. They have a good feel to the when first put on, but after going for a longer walk. They started to rub on my heel. Now I have a open sore on my heel and have to nurse my foot back to health. So I'm not to sure about buying any more of the expensive ones. ... show more
