With the Rearfoot PureGEL technology, the round toe sneakers help provide lightweight cushioning and softer landings. Thanks to these shoes I am now able to start running again. I was having issues for a long time where I couldn't go running because I couldn't find shoes that wouldn't hurt me. Once I found these it had the perfect softest durability and art support to help me get back into running. These are also great shoes for long days of walking like at a theme park. Although I wish they were a little more water resistant that's not something I worry too much about overall because it doesn't affect the performance of the shoe. These shoes offer great support and cushion. I bought the mens shoes because generally they fit better for me than womens shoes. I am an over pronator when running and these did not require a break in period and though I am NOT a runner, I am trying to be and these shoes help. I have previously ( 5+ years ago ) ran competitively.(6min/mile roughly depending on distance ), at that time I used the model of shoe for longer runs and a lighter asics shoe for races . I have recently resumed running (VERRY lol)casually and was skeptical of the LARGE HEEL of this model as they did not have large heels previously . I took them for a spin earlier today and my skepticism might turn into a preference at what I would call slower (9min/mi current cry)pace. VERRY supportive and I think this model of shoe although expensive has saved me money on medical expenses that may have occurred in other shoes .     • Best sneakers I ever have had

I was told years ago to buy only Asics or Brooks by a podiatrist for my sore feet. I switch back and forth between the two brands and these sneakers are the best I have ever had. I wish I had bought more at the time because these were on sale at a great price.

    • Misleading photo, otherwise very comfortable shoes

Just got the shoes, the fit is good and sizing is accurate (I normally wear New Balance 11.5 2E and the fit matches), I might expand this review after prolonged use. But there is an important warning right off the bat: the photo of the model I ordered is inaccurate; the Cool Matcha I chose looks more subdued and elegant on the photo, with less saturated green and light gray soles. In reality, it is a garish fluorescent green with pure white soles. They look quite awful in real life. I am a product photographer by trade and can safely say whoever took the photos, did a very poor job. ... show more

I suffer from flat feet and require extra support. These shoes were the answer. Incredible arch support and super comfy. Very light weight and provide great support from the ankles to the soles. Would definitely buy again.

Shoes came as expected and on time - used them for a few runs. AS advertised, helps with my over pronation a bit - cushiony run. Little tight on the lip/ankle area but thats more of a preference on mine some maybe not like.

    • Dry different than previous models

Good shoe but much different that the previous Kayano. I’ve been buying these for years, but this could be the last time. The footprint is much larger and the sole much thicker than before. Also the price point of these now puts them up there with other elite shoes which is not doable for me.
