Great running/walking shoe. Super lightweight and very supportive. I switched to ASICS from Adidas and haven’t looked back. I even wear ASICS golf shoes.

The shoes ae comfortable and have the ASICS typically good snug fit around the heel that has caused me to buy ASICS for the past several decades. However, this pair came with two different length shoelaces; one 44" long and the other 48" long. So, I ended up spending an extra $7.66 on shoe laces. I’d say the Cumulus 26 is more of a gym shoe than a proper running shoe. Not that it’s not suitable for a run! I’ve been using previous editions of the Gel Cumulus, and always thought of it as a great fit for the gym. It’s lightweight yet with a fairly firm sole that offers the support and stability needed for gym moves. Value for money and durability are a staple with ASICS, so no regrets there. If you’re looking for the ideal running pair, go for the Gel Nimbus 26. No substitute for my runs with that one for sure. So Cumulus for the gym, Nimbus for the run! ... show more

My son has flat feet and they always hurt after a little while. In these shoes, with the gel cushion, he says they no longer hurt and he can handle long walks or runs in these with no problem!
