I have feet like scuba fins, so finding quality running shoes is tough. I run 20-40 miles a week, and generally on trails, so I have preferred trail shoes, but wanted a road shoe to get some time on pavement. I tried wide sizes for altra, hoka, new balance, topo and others with no luck. All of them had the space in the tow box but not the arch. These in extra wide fit amazing and the stack is thick and soft like hoka. Very comfortable and forgiving for shorter faster runs, and extremely soft and forgiving on longer runs. I will buy these again until they invariably change them in the next model like manufactures always do sending me on a quest to find the next perfect shoe.

These shoes were only rated at 2 of 3 for cushioning, but these are as plush as any I've ever had (or better). The break-in period was about 1 short wearing, just doing errands. A small negative would be that the lacing is somewhat stiff at the upper part, but that will disappear as they are cycled on and off. Ankle bone clearance concerns me on most soft shoes and these have plenty. With shoes as good as these, it is very hard to come up with drawbacks to owning them, except the light grey will be a cleaning issue if you don't use them strictly for running. Enjoy.

These shoes are probably the most engineered shoes I have ever worn. You can just tell a lot of thought went into designing them. They are stable, supportive, light, etc. I purchased and wore these shoes for a Disney World Vacation and they delivered from minute one. My concern comes with the sole of the shoe. There is only a minimal amount of rubber tread on the bottom, which is great for weight, but I wear out the sides of my shoes because of my gate and it is basically foam out there. I feel like I will chew them up pretty quickly. Time will tell.
