I love these sneakers. I'm not much of a runner, but I use these for long walks. The FF Blast foam is my favorite midsole cush tech out there - softest and bounciest. The upper is soft and holds your foot in place, but keep in mind it's not designed for changing directions. I find these more comfy than the max cush shoes, as these are not as high and don't have an exaggerated forward roll feel. Fit is true to size. I purchased the white specifically as a comfortable shoe to hang out in and kick back with a nice casual fit. I thought they were stylish in a simplistic way, and I already knew why I was purchasing them. THEY RUN NARROW, SO SIZE UP BY A HALF. You'll thank me... Please read the reviews before you fall in love with these, & trust them regarding the quality. The brightside before I touch on my concerns, is the midsole-- its heavenly. Asics was truthful in the upper being extremely breathable, as the knit on the forefoot is like macrame, inconsistent in texture and easy to snag and rip. Basically there's portions of holes where if you look closely, you can actually see your socks! I know these manufacturers are becoming savvy in using less materials for the sake of austerity & cutting cost, while branding them as a consumer "benefit", but this is ridiculous. Another questionable thing I've noticed was the diminished amount of rubber on the outsole (and the bare unattached strip down middle of the forefoot), with a bit more of the midsole touching the ground on my forefoot strike than I'm used to. Used a daily runner, I doubt this would hold up more than a month if I were using it as such. Being a white shoe, I immediately sprayed it with Scotchguard hoping it would also keep the strings from unraveling on me while repelling stains... Be careful with these! ... show more

I've ran over a thousand miles in these shoes and just bought my second pair. Best running shoes I've ever worn with the help of some doctor shoals athletic insoles. I run on a treadmill but occasionally outside too.
