Absolutely love this skirt. The color is gorgeous in person and gives it such a fun, effortless boho feel while still being easy to style with simple tops, tanks, sweaters, or sandals. I’m 5’6 & 135 lbs. I like the length, elastic waistband in the size small is a perfect fit. The material is lightweight and flowy without being see-through, making it incredibly comfortable to wear all day. The style, fit, and fabric are all beautiful and amazing. The color however is not at all accurate. I ordered light green, and it is 100% blue. I took a photo of it next to a sage green blanket I have (the color it looks like it is supposed to be from the description/photos). Of course the lighting is off so it doesn’t show up totally the same way my eye sees it in real life, but at least you can see how different it is. I’m going to keep it because I love it, but I really wish it was actually green! ... show more

    • Waist is too big!

Under slip layer is same color as skirt and provides full coverage. The wide elastic waistband is sturdy but the waist runs large. I ordered a small size for my granddaughter but am returning item. I think even an x-small would be too big. Disappointed.

I ordered the white skirt in a large, and overall, I’m very happy with it. The fit is as expected, with a loose, comfortable feel that makes it easy to wear without feeling tight or restrictive. It has a light and airy look, which makes it especially nice for warm weather. The elastic waistband is comfortable, and the skirt has that relaxed bohemian style that can be dressed up or kept casual. It works well with sandals, a simple top, or even layered with a cardigan or denim jacket. The fabric is thin, and because I ordered it in white, it is somewhat see-through. I would definitely recommend wearing a slip or nude undergarments with it. That said, I expected white cotton-linen fabric to be on the lighter side, so it wasn’t a dealbreaker for me.     • Incredibly Uneven Hem makes skirt unwearable as-delivered
Size: Medium Color: White
There are a couple good things I can say about this skirt: It is *pure* white, which I need, it is clean, with no factory smudges or interwoven stray colored threads, and the waist fits my 35" waist perfectly. BUT the hem is horrible, and makes the skirt unwearable out of the package. Parts of the skirt are ankle length, and parts lay on the floor, and all points in between. Even my son, who barely notices clothes unless someone points them out, noticed this wonky length issue instantly. To make things worse, the "hem" is just narrow serging of the raw edge (1/8") so raw threads are left dangling and it looks utter crap. As this is a circle skirt, and the material is literally paper-thin, I'm having the devil of a time getting it to hang evenly. And doing a proper rolled hem by hand (my machine would eat this fabric!) is going to take at least a couple of hours. If I wasn't pretty sure a replacement would be just as awful, and I can't wait on the process because this is for an event that requires a long, white skirt, I would have returned this instantly. Another warning: This fabric is incredibly sheer. There is an underskirt, but it stops a couple of inches above my knees (I'm 5'4") so it's completely visible through the overskirt and looks freakin' weird. I'm probably going to cut it out, as I have a full length white slip. So, I'll wind up with an ankle-length skirt, at best, when I really wanted a floor-length one, and I'll have to expend a lot of work and frustrating effort to even be able to use this skirt. I will never buy from this vendor again, and in fact, I will never buy clothing from Amazon again. In this case, I would have been better off to spend more on material and make one myself. The time investment will work out about the same, since this sheer fabric demands a hand-rolled hem to look even halfway decent. ... show more
