UPDATED REVIEW: Following my initial review I was contacted by the seller regarding the size discrepancy of the placemats. The seller was very prompt in addressing the issue and removed the misleading photos that showed what looked to be much larger placemats than what they actually are. The placemats are extremely pretty and I would purchase them again as long as I was not intending to use them as placemats. They would be very nice on display or for under small dessert plates. Based on the clearer understanding of the size of these placemats, I am revising my rating to four stars. I would give them a five-star rating if the size was larger and could be used with a standard dinner plate. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’m giving these “placemats” two stars just because the designs are pretty and bright. But that’s where the pros end on this product. These are NOT placemats, unless you eat off a saucer. The pictures in the description all show actual plates and silverware and the “placemats” in the photos are much larger than the actual size. Using disproportionately sized silverware and plates is misleading to the buyer. Most of us rely on the pictures being an accurate representation of the product. Not the case with these. The “placemats are only 7 1/2” in diameter so they cannot be used as a placemat for a standard dinner plate. So buyer beware.

These were easy to do and have beautiful colors of drills. Look like glass. Some of the drills didn't get inpregnated or colored completely. Luckily there are plenty so I just tossed the bad ones. Nice solid base. Make good trivets.

I would not call these placemats as they are much too small to fit anything larger than a small bowl, saucer, or perhaps a dessert plate. However, the designs are beautiful, so I will definitely be keeping them. I will probably use them for displaying decorative items. They would probably look really good with a vase of flowers on them. Or maybe I will just hang them up on a wall because they're so pretty.
