These faux agave plants are nice, however, I was a little disappointed because they are not as large as they are pictured. In addition, the color of the plant is a little lighter, not as deep in the green color as pictured, but still beautiful. I ordered two and one of them came a little damaged. I immediately contacted Amazon and an exchange was probably started. Hopefully these hold up in color against the UV rise of the sun, as I am looking to keep these on my bavkyard patio for a long time to come.

The media could not be loaded. These are great for what I need…. They are not 28” wide…. MAYBE they are if you pull the leaves out hard but in their natural state they are about 20-22” realistically. They look very real though. I bought them to replace my real agaves that are half dead in their planters. The agaves that were planted in the ground are thriving and have quadrupled in size in 2 years but not the ones in the planters…. They are barely hanging on. I’ve tried different soil, plant foods, drainage holes, water, shade, sun. whatever… and they just won’t thrive. It’s time to put them in the ground like the others…. I give up. I do NOT have a green thumb. ( I can’t kill weeds though…. Weird!) But these are a perfect solution for the planters and they look so real, even side by side with the real ones. . When I tell people they are fake they don’t believe me and have to get closer to compare and actually feel them…. See my pics and I included a video as well…. I haven’t taken the old, half-dead agaves out of their planters yet so you can see the faux ones next to the old ones side by side. I’m going to plant these faux ones deeper but this gives a general idea… Real agaves and many real succulents actually look plastic-like so they are probably the best plant to try to replicate!

I like to have something green all the time in the planters by our front porch, and these have done just the trick! Very heavy duty, very realistic (even the stem that’s down in the pot looks real), no fading so far to report. Very happy, would order again if I ever added other pots. Came well packaged.

This plant looks real enough for me to keep. My house sits way back from the road, so it looks real. You have to get right up on it, to tell it’s artificial. My brother thought he was going to get poked!
