We inserted these into existing, exterior potted plants (most real, some faux). What makes them look believable is that (when stems are spread) they are not a large 'glop' of color. They are delicate and fine-leafed, and we selected a color that matches some of our REAL flowers. The only tiny negative is a slight sheen: probably is the UV coating and/or lubricant used to release from mold. From experience, we think the sheen will fade over time (maybe already is). Would buy again if had space. Odor gone after several days outside. ... show more

I bought several bundles of these in mid-September. It's now mid-October and they have faded!! We live in South Georgia so it's sunny...but for the price I would not purchase these again. I even sprayed them with a sun protection spray for fading. They are very pretty and look real if they will be in a shaded area. I've been really pleased with how well these have held up and how they look. Yes, they smelled strongly of plastic immediately after opening, but that smell airs out fairly quickly and does not linger on the item. Once I arranged them into the configuration I wanted, they held and looked really nice. If you are up close, they are obviously plastic, but from a short distance it is not noticeable. Good product. Living in the desert, and facing west, my living (no longer) plants get fried by the hot sun (see photo 2, my poor dead real Lavender). I love having splashes of color to break up the all over beige. I'm just hoping our already over 100 degree days don't fade or melt these, being plastic. Time will tell I guess. Just "planted" these and loving the look, and hard to tell they're not a live plant.
