i got these sleeves to cover up the healing SH scars on my arms & wrists. these work well for that purpose. they could also probably be used for covering arm tattoos. they have good coverage (covering almost my entire arm), a comfortable material, and a good, snug but stretchy fit. i am a somewhat small guy, these are a good fit for me and are fully opaque on my arms, but they may be tighter and slightly more transparent on someone with bigger arms. i'll also be wearing these to work, so i appreciate that these have a good fit and will be easy to use while working (unlike looser sleeves, which get in the way). these stay securely enough that i dont even have to think about it. even though the listing mentions cooling, i dont feel much of a cooling effect. these feel like they make my arms slightly warmer. i personally don't mind this, but if you are looking for a cooling effect, you may want to buy different sleeves. overall, i enjoy these; they're pretty plain, but that makes them a versatile thing to have around. i also got them for a good price (4 pairs for $4 on sale, so $1 for each pair). it seems like they’ll hold up pretty well for the purpose i'm using them for. still, to prolong their life, i'd recommend washing these by hand or using a delicates bag. ... show more

I had hoped these would provide more support than they do. They do support but it seems to lose some support as the day goes on. I ordered the medium ones and they were just ok. If they made a small it would have been better
