  • Very Happy with These
Color: 3 Pairs Black
I got these for everyday use; sunlight exposure is dodgy for me for medical reasons, so I don't feel entirely safe relying on sunscreen, which tends to wear off pretty quickly, in my experience. Between the way this fabric breathes, the moisture wicking, and the UV protection, these make my life a lot easier and make the sun safer and more tolerable for me. This design has an extra bit of fabric that covers the back of the hand, which is what made me want to try them. It spares me having to wear gloves in hot weather, and that makes these a lot more useful to me. They go all the way up my arm, which I like, and they stay in place well. Under a loose, sun-protective shirt, these are very comfortable, even in the severe desert heat where I live. I heartily recommend these if you're worried about sun exposure. It find these much more convenient than slathering on sunscreen and, in particular, it's nice not having to wash all that dry sunscreen off and not having to reapply sunscreen at intervals to ensure I have adequate UV protection. These rinse out easily in the sink and they don't hold sweat; they wick it off your skin and sweat evaporates pretty quickly from this fabric. Simple accessories, for sure, but they do make a big difference in terms of comfort on bright, sunny days. ... show more

  • Arm sleeves with coverage down to the back of the hand
Color: 3 Pairs: Black+dark Gray+light Gray
My use case is probably a bit different than most: I'm an accordionist, and I use these to let my hand slide easily underneath the left-hand strap, so my palm doesn't get stuck to the instrument when my hand is sweaty. I look for the thinnest and slipperiest arm sleeves I can find. These are plenty thin to not add unnecessary bulk, absorbent enough to wick sweat off my skin, and while not deliberately slippery like bike shorts are, they are nice smooth fabric. Each sleeve will last me a couple months of daily practice, so this package is a year's supply for me. Black looks best and is least distracting to the audience. But lighter colors will be cooler if you're out in the sun. And if you are doing something like pulling weeds you'll probably find these have a very short lifespan. They are thin coverings, not the arm equivalent of work gloves or chaps. ... show more

  • Great sun protection, good sweat absorber
Color: 5 Pairs White
I've been using sleeves like these since I found out about them. I mainly use them for work, but have started wearing them outside to the park, beach etc. I don't like sunblock and having to reapply it often and when using these it's not an issue anymore. My main reason for them however is to help absorb sweat on my arms while I'm working. They wick it up and help me to sweat less and keeps it from running down my arms and hands. These sleeves are very soft and fit my arms well. They do stretch out a bit after wearing them, but they all do. The hole in the side for your thumb is nice, if you want to wear them that way. I don't, but I did find the hole is perfect to slide over my apple watch and keeps it in place. I recommend washing them in a delicates bag to help keep them from stretching too much and to help prevent unravelling. They won't get completely clean, but it's good enough. My only downside is that when the skin is dry they roll down my bicep. I don't have the problem when I'm sweating, but it gets annoying when my arms are dry. Overall very happy with them and hope they last as long as the other brand I was using. ... show more

  • Loving them for golf!
Color: 3 Pairs White-1
I play golf often and typically just go short sleeved. Saw somebody mention sleeves like these on social media and how they were so cooling and had replaced sunscreen for them. Got this 3 pack on a whim, and wow, it's the perfect item I had no idea I needed until I got them! Amazingly, they actually are cooling -- and you'll notice as soon as you put them on and start moving your arms around. It feels like menthol gel or biofreeze if you know that sensation. I've heard that adding water to them makes the effect even more powerful, but I Haven't tried that yet. I probably won't wear these everytime, but I think I will often. ... show more

  • Excellent protection
Color: 3 Pairs White-1
I am really happy with these arm sleeves. I am out in the sun gardening sometimes for a couple of hours and they offer great protection for my arms. They are light weight and they keep me cool even in unbearably hot days . They do not slide down but they are not too tight on my arms. They came in a nice box and each sleeve was also individually packed in plastic bags. They wash really well and dry fast. I recommend these for anybody that needs to protect their arms from getting burned. ... show more

  • Decent thickness, questionable fit.
Color: 3 Pairs: Black+dark Gray+light Gray
I think I was expecting these sleeves to feel like sweat wicking athletic wear, and in reality they are more like heavy pantyhose/tights material. I have to say, the over all fit on these is weird. They almost feel a little twisted all the time even though they are not, and it is kind of irritating from a sensory perspective. I am definitely someone with bigger arms, and these sleeves offer no compression for me at all. Additionally, they are not snug at the tops, and do shift and start to slide a bit as I bend my elbows. Though, I do like that they are anchored by the thumb-holes, and cannot slide up from the there. I also don't think that these are quite long enough, as I am a woman with a very average reach, and they barely hit the biceps on me. The sleeves do make my arms feel cooler in the sun, which is really nice. I am unsure if I would trust the UV protection long term, but they seem to work decently well enough in the short. At time of reviewing these sleeves are listed at $12.99, which I think is not bad for a three pack, though I wish that the fit was much better. ... show more
