I purchased these for my 8# elderly rescue yorkie who has occasional incontinence when she sleeps at night. They are absorbent, seem to fit well across her abdomen, and the tabs can be affixed and reaffixed without losing their hold. The only problem is that they slide off the slope of her hips. Her tail is docked, and I think that they would stay on better if it wasnt. I solved this by putting her in a onesie with a snap crotch after putting on the diaper. I'm lucky that she doesn't mind wearing clothes and the onesie holds it in place while she sleeps. When she wakes up and starts to walk though, the diaper does slip down. I might try a larger size next time to see if that helps. ... show more

Our large elderly dog started losing control at night and we found wet spots wherever he slept. We needed a quick and easy solution while caring for him. Nobody wants to have extra cleaning duties everyday. I bought this product when our elderly dog became sick & incontinent and it was such a relief! It fit on an overweight black lab (95#) and still had some room left, so he was comfortable. The sticky tabs held well, but don't readjust them too often because they do wear out fast. Our lab had a large bladder and released a lot so we did have some leaks. You may need cover or an additional something to prevent that. The diapers held in most odors.
