I like these grips. The texture on them is excellent. They were reasonably easy to install and took about an hour. There are some excellent video tutorials on YouTube that help make this an easy process if you have never done this before. I did have to do some sanding on my handlebars as well as a little bit inside the grip itself to keep it from sticking, but I expected that. One thing to note, if you are putting this on a Harley as I did, is that the left grip is glued on and is pretty tricky to remove. I ended up peeling the grip off while spraying a little WD40 under it. I just kept working/peeling it until it finally came off. This process took the longest. I guess I could have cut the grip off, but I wanted to keep it just in case I did not like these grips. ... show more

I'm a lady, hight 4 11'. My hands are small and the grips my bike came with were way too bulky for my hands to grip properly. That also made it hard for me to reach my turn signals properly. But once I installed these gripe it was like Night and day. They are thin & they look really good on the Harley Sportster 883. I absolutely love them! ... show more

I actually thought they were machined aluminum when ordered and was surprised when they weren't. But after installing and using them, I LOVE them. The rubber is super firm (feels super high quality) and creates maximum grip. Comfortable with gloves or bear skin. They look super clean and high grade. I replaced my OME Harley grips (which were thick/fat)...these are "slimmer" and feel like I have so much more control now. They are a perfect upgrade to my Nightster.     • Best Grips For Under $50
Excellent grips. Soft enough for comfort, but solid enough to not move or twist when WOT riding. Only gripe is the grip glue thats included with this is the toughest, fastest drying substance known to man. It almost like you put your grips on with 5 second curing JB Weld. So squirt this stuff all inside the grip, and quickly slide it on in the position you want. Dont twist the grips until the glue has cured!!!! You literally have 5 seconds to get that grip on so make sure the glue is all around the grip and bars. ... show more

A well made Arlen Ness piece. Excellent quality with the little touches, like the throttle tube had dry lube on the inner barrel already - ready to install on a nice clean bar. The grips also come with grip glue - another nice touch. I have them installed on my 'Glide and they look great - they don't draw attention, but if someone does get up close and inspect, they will see a nice piece and know that you paid attention to the details. ... show more

The black knurling on these grips are firm but exceptionally functional for positive engagement of throttle control ( rolling on & off ) while utilizing gloves or bare knuckling it. Aesthetically many have commented that they appear to be solid metal due to the precision Knurl pattern woven horizontally throughout the grip face. the dense rubber is that quality. very happy with product and I have put 1k miles on them without any perceived flaw. ... show more

Got rid of the stock HD grips on my 2018 sporty. Little heads up, the stock left grip is glued on, it was a mother to get off. The Arlen Ness Grips are nice af. The knurling type pattern give you a solid grip. The throttle side is very smooth, doesn't hang up at all.

Easy to swap out, glue dries crazy fast. Make sure you have a plan, once you slide on the left grip you have about 1 second to get it right.
