I actually thought they were machined aluminum when ordered and was surprised when they weren't. But after installing and using them, I LOVE them. The rubber is super firm (feels super high quality) and creates maximum grip. Comfortable with gloves or bear skin. They look super clean and high grade. I replaced my OME Harley grips (which were thick/fat)...these are "slimmer" and feel like I have so much more control now. They are a perfect upgrade to my Nightster. Great quality, fit and finish. These grips are exactly what I hoped they would be; firm with great textured surface. My only beef is that the left grip wasn't quite long enough (because of the end cap) and would have left a void between the grip and controls. Normally I would have just slid the controls down to meet the grip but that exposed the taper on my aftermarket bars. I cut 1/4" off the end of the left bar; problem solved. aftermarket bars + aftermarket grips = some modification necessary. (Still gets 5 stars because probably would have fit factory bars perfectly) ... show more

These grips were very easy to install on my 2022 Iron 883. They also feel much better than the stock grips that came on the bike and the knurled texture helps bite into my gloves when riding. Would highly recommend.

100 percent recommend these. Harder rubber than oem but not too hard to lose comfort! Only issue I had was the slots for the cable ends did have a tiny bit of over melt plastic but it was so minuscule that a knife easily took it off. Still get 5 stars imo

A well made Arlen Ness piece. Excellent quality with the little touches, like the throttle tube had dry lube on the inner barrel already - ready to install on a nice clean bar. The grips also come with grip glue - another nice touch. I have them installed on my 'Glide and they look great - they don't draw attention, but if someone does get up close and inspect, they will see a nice piece and know that you paid attention to the details. ... show more
