I received the Savannah Waterproof boot as a gift in size 9.5, and returned for a size 9B. I like the dark black richness of the leather, and simple decorative details. The fabric inside is a bonus eye treat. The boot does not provide enough arch support for my needs, although I use a 3/4 arch/heel insert which works perfectly. The boot probably runs a bit narrow than medium width, so I'm wearing with thin wool socks without experiencing any discomfort. I love wearing my Savannah boot now that the leather is broke-in. I haven't had any problems walking in winter weather so they are slip resistant. They are fun to wear with skinny jeans and dresses. I think this quality made boot will last many years. ... show more

These boots are AMAZING! Just got them for work, and an upcoming trip. They are stylish, and COMFORTABLE! I was shocked how good they felt on day 1! Size seemed accurate and can fit with a thick boot sock. I am usually a 6.5-7 and the 7 felt good. Ariat are well made boots that I have worn through the years and these do not disappoint! ...for the price I expected buttery-soft, ultra-comfortable, nicely-padded-inside boots. What I received is a very good-looking pair of boots, but then, for the price, they better be. The problem is that they also need to be comfortable, but they're not, at least not for me... too hard, inflexible. They also run on a large side, so plan accordingly. If you want to wear them with thick socks, your normal size will do. They also need to have at least minimal arch support, but they have absolutely none, which was the last straw for me. I really wanted to love these boots, I paid the high price they come with, but back they went. For the price, they need to be perfect, and that they weren't, at least not for me. 4 stars still because they are really good looking and someone else may find that enough. ... show more

So far they are Perfect. I've had them for a few months and worn about a dozen times. Still a little on the stiff side but that will ease up in time. One of the best purchases I've made in a long time. If you need a good pair of well made boots, perhaps you'd like to try these. I have zero complaints and I'm super fussy. Normally a 7.5 medium but I have a high instep (top of your foot) and a narrow heel, so quite often I cannot get my foot into even the most basic of shoes and when I do my heel slips out, lol - yah I know, life is tough...these Ariat boots fit me really well though. Worn with your average thickness of socks (not thin little girl socks...real socks made to be worn with shoes) - They are not too tight and they don't pinch me anywhere. Because I have a narrow heel I might consider one of those heel gripper thingy's, but overall these fit really well currently with minimal heel slippage. It kind of feels like the more I wear them the less it is noticeable, so perhaps the leather (as others have noted) is actually conforming to my foot. I don't really know, but I love them. They are comfortable and don't bother me at all. 5-stars ... show more

I bought these for the great looking style, but I am keeping them for so many more reasons! They are totally true to fit and even better looking in person than in the photos! The fit is perfect and being waterproof is a real bonus! I like that I can wear my pants tucked in or outside, which makes the boots so versatile. They are real winners! ... show more

Nice Boots, Waterproof & comfortable. PLEASE READ--I recommend the boots but only gave 3 stars due to the following: I bought sz 9 boots first, They came from Western Warehouse. I DO NOT Recommend buying from WESTERN WAREHOUSE. Go thru Amazon fulfillment or ARIAT, etc., for your boots . I waited too long myself to return these sz 9 but was told by Amazon they would send me return label & I shipped boots back to Western Warehouse and they received them 4 days later on Jan 4 2023. i had originally asked for an exchange to try 9 1/2 and was told by Amazon that Western Warehouse does not do exchanges. you must just return & then order a new pair (from whoever). Western Warehouse did not acknowledge me at all & after about 10 days I had Amazon contact the seller & seller sent me an email saying I returned them after 30 days, which I did, AND Also, that the boots were worn, so not returnable. I accept that I tired to return too late, BUT THEY Were NOT WORN only tried on carpet, but they said they were definitely worn & had animal hairs? on them. & would not refund for those reasons & that they throw out any returned Worn items after 30 days! They also stated they only give 50% back if the items box is damaged in any way when you return! I am sure his is why they do not exchange, they then can say your item has something wrong with it and see if they can Not have to refund you. I did get my boots back after Amazons request to seller to ship them back to me. Also the boots had some marks, and scratches on right boot, that were not on them when I shipped them back. I re-ordered the Chocolate boot in 9 1/2 and luckily for me it was fulfilled by Amazon, who is great at returns and customer service, at least for me. Color was as shown on my 9 1/2 but was slightly too big, so I did have to return them, but do recommend these boots. I feel the size runs true to size for Ariat boots. I bought them because they were waterproof and I plan to wear them on rain days or light snow or slush days this winter. They have a nice rubber grip sole.
