I really love these jeans. I would consider them boot cut, not flare. For me they are more on the low side of a mid rise jean. The front hits me about two inches below my belly button. I really like that the back is higher than the front, which allows you to bend over without anything hanging out. There are darts on the back sides that help prevent gapping. They have just the right amount of stretch to be comfortable but still feel like real jeans. They seem to be really well made and wash well. The sizing is definitely wonky between the different washes. I am 5’4 and 116lbs. I bought 25R in Rainstorm and they fit perfectly with heels. If I wear a two inch heel they are just above the floor. I liked them so much I ordered another pair a week later. After reading reviews, I decided to size up in the darker pair. I ordered 26R in Marine and these fit the same way as the Rainstorm in 25R. I am glad I sized up because there is no way I could have fit into the 25R in the Marine color. I hope this helps! ... show more

Over all, I like these jeans quite a bit. I'm 6' & the extra long length is nice. I also like the real denim, heavier weight of these jeans. There's nothing flimsy about them & the stitching is nice. I like the extra belt loops in the back as well, they're cute & functional. My only complaint is out of 3 pair in the exact same size, not a single one is the same length & I would say they all run consistently a little on the large size. I'll order one size down next time. They are all long enough, but there is almost 3" difference between the longest pair & shortest pair. That's a pretty big difference for the same size. ... show more

So I have been looking everywhere for bootcut jeans, I'm sick of skinny jeans all the time. I came across these and after looking at the questions to determine my size I chose the 28R to be safe. I normally wear a size 3, 4, 5, or 6 depending on brands, so I figured based off what Amazon recommended and what I saw in the reviews 28R would work well for me. One of the things I noticed once I got them was that 28R was slightly looser on me, but I'm keeping them, I love the fit. The length was three inches too long for me so I hemmed them to fit me better. And here's the catch, the pockets. THEY FIT MY WHOLE HAND!!! The next pair I get I'm going to try a size 27R and see how well those fit. I have no problems with the loose fit of a 28R, but that's me personally. I would recommend to try a 27R if you're around my size. But I can't say 100% due to only knowing the 28R. ... show more

    • Good Fit For Tiny Waist and Generous Butt/Thighs
Size: 28 Long Color: Marine
After trying three sizes I ended up quitting with these. The 36 long inseam did end up being too much. 5' 9" 150lbs. The fit was strange. I wore them around the house a bit. The waist is not stretchy and it cut into my 32" waist. I'm a little generous in the butt and thighs. 24-25" around one thigh, I think, and 40-41" butt. For these to be comfy and flattering, you would need less around the waist and more in the butt and thighs. Seems like good sturdy material though. As a reminder to myself later, I don't think I'm actually comfortable with this much stitching detail drawing attention to my widest area. My cousin handed-me-down some plain Wrangler straight cut that I'm happy with. Levi's skinny jeans are actually long, comfy, and flattering. Don't know how sturdy yet. ... show more
