Best paddock boots ever! I had been buying Saxon equileather paddock boots since they fit the best, BUT since they are not exactly a quality material I had to replace my paddock boots every year. I also tried Dublin brand and they were awful (very narrow and made your feet look huge)! I ordered these in the same size as I did for the Saxon brand and they fit perfectly. No breaking in required. The round toe is very nice as well, not boxy or bulky as you might think. The first day I wore these was at an event where I was running around the facility a lot, getting people situated and trailers parked, I did manage to get to ride my horse as well. After 6 hours straight of being on my feet in these boots I knew I found my "forever" boot. ... show more

The boots took the full delivery but were in perfect condition when I received them. I have purchased other Ariat brand riding boots and they had a good 5 years of riding roughly 4 times a week. They finally developed a squeak and the leather was coming apart at one of the seams, thta is the only reason why I needed a new pair. I had got my money's worth out of them so I decided on sticking with Ariat because of that. I decided to try the rounded toe and find them to be more roomy for my toes. I was concerned about the toe getting in and out of the stirrup but have not had any issues! They leather broke in quickly and comfortably and I love them. I feel the rounded toe is more comfortable exspecially if you end up walking around in them then the traditional toe. I highley recommend them and the Ariat brand. I usually am not a brand snob but due to wear and tear of horse equipment I do find certain brands hold up over time and give you your money's worth like the Ariat! ... show more

These look ok, but a few hours on a concrete floor in a stable and you will know they lack support. I also do not like the rounded toe.

Ariat quality not what it used to be. Have been buying this style and size 7.5 for past 8 years. Always fit well and lasted. When I bought a new pair I had to return the first pair because a size 7.5 was way to big. returned for a size 7 and they fit somewhat better, however they were to large over the top of the foot. Quality was always good leather, now it is more like pleather. This will be the last pair of Ariat boots I buy. ... show more

Comfortable, true to size (albeit wide and the round toe can be bulky), offer stability in the saddle, thus far appears to be fairly well constructed. I wear mine all day everyday while riding and working in the barn and expect them to hold up to the rigors of horse care/riding while still being comfortable and somewhat fashionable. That being said, I think they are overpriced for their durability as the zippers break easily. I would recommend them for light to moderate wear but I will buy the (ugh) lace version next time should I choose to go with ariat again. ... show more
